  1. Thanks. I have seen new CT, but some parts - like tool tray you metioned or jack holder are way too expensive. I do not use any tray at the moment, have raised the edges where tray normally sits and put the old carpet. Thanks to this boot floor is flat. I did carry few heavy things without any issues so I can not agree that the carpet does not support any load. But I'm tempted to get OEM like functionality with the tray. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Thanks for pictures Adam. Boot looks nice and clean. I'm bit confused, as previously I have read and been told that you would have to spend over 500 quid for all the boot parts, as polystyrene tray and carpet would not fit on their own. Looking at your pictures seems like nice / perfect fit, or are there any gaps etc.? Just to clarify - by trunk carpet you mean boot tray cover that folds in half?
  3. Adam what parts have you bought? Could you advise part numbers and prices?
  4. Just making sure - is this regular price or discounted? The part number is for the set (front and rear) of dumpers? Does it make a big difference in car's handling?
  5. You are welcome Jon. I do not see the point of paying such high dealer rates for fitting CC or customizing settings. Glad I could help.
  6. 150 for the parts seems a lot, prices must have gone up. I paid 122, but that was 10 months ago.
  7. Offer still valid, happy to help. I would go with part numbers, most of the time people at parts dept have no scooby-doo.
  8. There is a thread on other forum with images: http://www.ct200hforum.com/forum/lexus-ct200h-general-discussion-forum/118233-cruise-control-installation-imgs.html If somebody is looking to buy CC parts there is a steering wheel with CC on ebay for only 56 quid delivered - half the price of the parts from dealer.
  9. You are very welcome. It is really nice feature, I missed it a lot since I changed car.
  10. To do this you need to use your mobile, don't you? I can do that too. What can not be done is press the button on the steering wheel and voice call any contact you want without touching the phone at all. I miss that feature.
  11. I have no problems with BT at all. I had to turn down volume level a lot, it was way to loud. People here me loud and clear, at the beginning many were saying "Don't shout" - got used to it and do not raise my voice while on the phone. The only complain I have is the fact it does not allow to choose contacts from the connected phone using voice commands, it is only possible for few stored in the main unit. My old Nokia CK-200 could do it easily about 10 year ago or so, of course without transferring phone book.
  12. Thanks Goef. I went today to local wheel shop and wanted to buy Dare wheels, but the supplier is out of stock. May be available in 6 weeks. Maybe it is a sign not to buy them :) I'm not in a hurry anyway.
  13. My OEM wheels are in perfect condition (just dirty on the picture) and it is not really about the money :D It's about modification, changing the look a little bit, making it different from all the other CTs on the road. I know some may not understand it ad consider it as unnecessary. Thank you for your opinion.
  14. Had previously received other info, as you say Paul it might be specific for the trim.
  15. 2015 all come with space saver spare wheel.
  16. Could you please share your opinion and help me choose the winner? Dare X2 gunmetal matt 7.5x17 ET35 Dotz Freeride silver 7.5x17 ET35 I like both, Dare was my favourite until I have seen them today. They have poor quality finish, paint looks bad in corners, there are some kind of surface scratches under paint. Most of that is not visible from a distance, but as much as I like design I do not like the thought of paying full price for low quality goods. Dotz are great wheels, nice pearl finish, they match chrome trim around windows, and out of the UK can be bout cheaper than Dare (delivery included). What are your thoughts?
  17. +1. Have just checked and colour code is on the last page of service book. In the car you can find it on manufacturer's label / VIN label on front passenger door frame as explained in my earlier post.
  18. There is a CT200h steering wheel with CC on ebay at the moment for 70 quid delivered. Not my auction, just thought somebody could be interested, as you get the parts 50 quid cheaper than from the dealer and after fitting CC there is still steering wheel to sell. Just in case ask the seller about details and / or better quality picture.
  19. Most of the cars (or maybe all cars?) have colour code number on the VIN plate. Did you check it? Edit: As per info I have found on the internet on VIN plate you will find marking "C/TR:" followed by 3 digit/letter code then "/" and another 4 digits/letters. The first 3 are colour code.
  20. Must say that for quite a long time I had no tailgating cases, but earlier on such occasions I used to press brake pedal with one foot - just a tiny bit in order to engage the switch and turn on brake lights - and with the other foot press the accelerator at the same time - not very hard, just a little bit to increase distance. If tailgater did not understand my point - did the trick again, but hardly ever had to do it more than twice.
  21. Yes, I have retrofitted CC on my own. No, I do not work for Lexus, working on cars is my hobby, have done it for years - suspensions, diagnostic, electric. Have retrofitted self dimming mirrors, CC, heated seats , parking sensors etc. in many cars for me and my friends. Always happy to help and meet other club members :)
  22. Jonathan, it is really easy to retrofit CC, but if you do not feel confident doing it yourself and do not mind going to Stockport, get the parts and I would be happy to fit it for you. I see no point spending 100 pounds at dealership for this job.
  23. Thank you, but I know the difference, no need to use calculator. What I do not know, or rather I'm not sure about (and none of the calculators will help here) is if those wheels would fit without rubbing. I have read all threads on American CT200h forum, but I'm still in doubt, as info over there does not match and it is confusing. Have asked the question there but it remains unanswered (most of the interesting topics were over a year old). I have also checked German ABE documents available online (specifies cars each rim will fit, possible tyre sizes and if there are any modifications required) and that did not help as well - e.g. for one rim ABE says you need to roll front fender, and ABE for other rim with exactly same spec - that there is no such need.
  24. Has anybody got experience with aftermarket wheel - 7.5x17 ET35 or 8x17 ET32? I want to fit rims with lower ET, but avoid rubbing issues, rolling fenders etc, I'm too old for that :D Or maybe somebody has fitted wheel spacers and would share some details?
  25. True, it will safeguard the price and this is it. I think you should talk to your dealer about the price of the plan, as others not only safeguard the price but also offer discount compared to regular prices (e.g. £85 off price of 3 services) and other benefits - 1 MOT included or 50% off MOT's, 10% discount on parts and accessories. Keeping that in mind you might get better deal.
