  1. It might be trim dependant but as far as I remember passanger seat on mine had no height adjustment.
  2. The reason I bought one was lack of know issues and over 5 years of ownership had only one - corroded sliding pins of rear brake calipers. Car was out of warranty at that time, managed myself with only new sliding pins and some cleaning. Except for this only regular service over 50k miles.
  3. Not sure CT would be the right one for family car. Depends how big your family is I guess. It is a good car but small with tiny boot. Standard guarantee is 3 years / 60k miles if I remember correctly, extended warranty available. Hybrid battery can be guaranteed up to 15 years with yearly Hybrid Health Check.
  4. Did more reading and it looks like not always oem sensors fit aftermarket wheels due to position of the valve hole. There are ways around it but this is additional cost. Guess I will not know untill I get the wheels and take them to the garage. Thanks for your input.
  5. These are Zenga alloys as per OP. Others have shown 17inch 10 spoke standard alloys for early CT200h. Google '2012 Lexus CT200h pdf', it is clearly shown in the brochure. Sorry for double post.
  6. These are Zenga rims, same as per OP.
  7. Changed to Zenga from standard 10 spoke alloys on my previous CT. Unfo do not have many pictures.
  8. Have updated recently GS to latest 2020 maps and they have data from April 2019 if I remember correctly and were released in October 2019 (or about that time). Would have thought it is the same case for other models. Did not use dealer, but one of many webpages and the cost was reasonable at £65.
  9. Looking to fit bigger wheels to 2016 GS300h. Do not want to go with much wider tyres so was thinking about 8.5x19 with 235/40/19 tyres. Rims I like come with 40 offset. Would they cause any problems? I am not willing to do any modifications to accommodate new wheels, car is used daily so need to stay practical - no rubbing etc. Also what is your experience with fitting oem pressure sensors to aftermarket wheels?
  10. I might have been lucky but fitted quite a few CC sets on CT and it was never needed, also have not seen any reports of such cases on the net. Possibly it was only a Prius thing?

  12. You could try https://toyotamaps.online/map-updates. Have updated maps on 2016 GS300h recently and this guy was really helpful. WhatsApp contact is very good.
  13. Have connected my 2016 GS300h without any problems just after purchase. To be honest there is not much there except planning the route beforehand on your phone and sending to the car. Not sure if traffic, weather forecast, fuel prices etc. require login as well or just internet connection over BT, but it all works as well. About a week ago had a popup on the screen saying something about software update required together with some webpage. As I was focused on the traffic did not quite get it, only split second before it disappeared form the screen. Asked local Lexus Stockport but they know nothing about it. Have not seen it afterwards.
  14. Have traded in 2012 CT200h with nearly 80k miles few months ago. Bought with 22k miles 5 years ago. Had two issues over that time - blemish on passenger side mirror that was replaced under warranty and stack pins of rear calipers that I have sorted myself. As written above you need to be aware of what that car is before purchase as it's drivetrain does not suit everybody. Personally I find it perfect for my driving so got myself another (bigger) one. Lexus offers now cheaper servicing for cars over 7 years old, but think the lower price comes with from the fact it's limited to basics compared with standard price service.
  15. No, you are right. It was early when I had a look at MOT history. Sorry for confusion.
  16. Car was registered on 30.06.2015, but first MOT was done 31.05.2019. It passed with flying colours but why such a delay? Strange considering last service was in February 2019?
  17. I was lucky to buy Carista app shortly after it was released, at that time there was no time limit etc. so I have full functionality all the time. But as you say - after I change cars customisation options are needed once or twice and it is done.
  18. Remote closing / opening windows and sunroof (if eqipped) can be turned on by dealer or using OBD dongle and e.g. Carista software - there is few more customizations available, you can check full list on their webpage. Think dealer would do it for free or you could ask if somebody from the forum in your area has software to sort it out.
  19. Hi. Managed to loose somehow one of the headlight washers covers. Since I got the car it seemed to be bit misaligned in the bumper cutout - the gap was bit bigger on one side. Have ordered new one and realized now I have not asked if there is any clip or other part holding it in place. Has anybody changed or fitted one?
  20. You are looking for luggage space and CT has more like additional glove box at the back than real boot. It was always a struggle for us to fit weekly shopping. Headroom might be just about enough, but would imagine seat will have to me moved all the way back, so no leg room really left in the second row. The best you could do is go and see / try one that is for sale close to your place before you commit to travel further.
  21. Would say look for other car witch such requirements.
  22. Keep in mind that CC can be retrofitted fairly easily and cheaply and the leather is not genuine one but faux and is of poor quality. IMO not worth it, was disappointed with it.
  23. Had a set of Quatrac 5 on CT200h. There were not many reviews at the time of purchase. One of the selling points was high threadwear indicator suggesting they should last. And they did - 50k miles and were still only half worn. As I was going abroad every winter I had a chance to drive in snowy conditions and tires did great, until last year (abt 45k miles in) where I could feel the difference. Sold the car month ago, in other case I would be changing them in autum - not becuse of wear but due to worsening traction in snow.
