  1. Can confirm it happened to me as well, Relax was about to expire on 28/12/22, but I did a service on 19/12/22 and that gave me additional year of Relax, and after that I went with 10 Year Extended Warranty Plus this year.
  2. Relax is up to 10 years and/or 100,000 miles and doesn't cover as much as Warranty Plus. Warranty plus is up to 15 years and/or 150,000.
  3. Thank you for clarifying. Not sure why the dealership I've got my warranty with in January would say they've never heard of that to some of people that commented on my post that confirmed I've got the warranty in January. Saying that, there is only one person I deal with in service department, so maybe it's not common knowledge.
  4. Hi all. Apologies for getting back to you so late. At the begining my local dealer has been unaware of the 10 Year Plus warranty, but I've copied and pasted one of the posts here, the one below from a different member: "I arranged my 10 Year Plus Extended Warranty through Lexus Reading (Jemca group) - it's the second year I have had this and just renewed in October. The 10 Year Plus Extended Warranty is not dealer specific though, they just organise it for you, the provider is Toyota (GB) plc and it's administered by TWG Services Limited" And sent it to my service department. I've been servicing my car with them for the past 3 years, I also have service plan with them, so not sure if it's discretionary arrangement that dealers might but not must offer, because they know my car, but I've got confirmation the warranty is on.
  5. Thanks everyone, just wanted to confirm this is still the case. Just signed up my 2013 RX450h which has just done 100,000 miles. The road assistance is still included as well.
  6. It is just a loaner anyway, but to be honest I'm shocked as I never came across a Lexus without heated seats, but then again I've only had 2/3GS, LS430, UX300e and 3RX. There's radar cruise control, LKA, 3 way climate zone, kick boot opener, and all other creature comforts but not heated seats. Looking at 2019 spec sheet for RX/RXL they did come with heated seats in base RX trim so maybe it was an option after 2020 facelift, or 2019 pre-facelift was revised after new 4th gen launch in 2016, and 2016 models didn't come with heated seats as standard either.
  7. No buttons in front of gear lever. Just a hole for coins or something. And another one a bit more narrow next to it. Just P and Hold in front of gear lever and QI charger further down. I've looked up manual, and heated seats should be in front of gear lever like you said.
  8. Hi Everyone So while mine is in for service I was give 21 RX450hL for the time being. It is a step up in some areas over 3RX, but there are also some downsides (the placement of Power button, which I keep kicking with my knee), and the dreaded touchpad, which is uncomfortable to use as opposed to 3RX mouse controller. Anyway, that's by the by. For the life of me I cannot find the heated seats button. On 2022 the UX300e loaner it was next to Qi charger pad, just underneath the climate controls. On my 3RX underneath armrest, on 3GS underneath armrest. On 2GS I had it in front of armrest, my LS430 had them at the front of centre console by transmission. Is it possible that RX450hL wouldn't come with heated seats as standard? I looked up the manual, and the buttons aren't where the manual says. I looked up Lexus blog press release for 2022 and looked up trims and even the basic RX trim should have heated and memory seats. I can't find a spec sheet for 2020 facelift. Not only that, there's also no easy entry in the settings (seat moving back upon leaving the car), only steering wheel, but it has LKA and Radar Cruise Control as standard so I'm a bit puzzled in regards to standard features. I'm also surprised with the seats being very similar if not the same to my facelift 3RX. I thought they were updated? Anyway I've got it for 8 days and we'll see how I get on. Do far it's not the easiest to park with 3rd row, but on the flip side when I get my 3RX back it will probably feel small like UX.
  9. Very similar experience last year. 2013 RX450h on Michelin Cross Climates in hybrid snow mode. Went through the snow in Greenfield up and down the road by the lake like it was nothing. Jeep Renegade didn't manage, neither did Range Rover Velar and Audi A1. I suppose for Velar it was a case of summer tires because they did look quite big and wide, and maybe the owner believed in 4wd a bit too much. Anyways I've got nothing but praise for RX450h show capabilities.
  10. Sorry guys, was writing from my old account re Lexus Stockport. Which Lexus dealership offered the Extended one? My 2012 RX450h Relax is due to expire next month (still under 100k) and when I've asked about Extended Warranty Plus was told it doesn't exist. Any chance you could advise which dealership does Extended Warranty Plus so I can let them know. I'm going to get my Big 100k service done in December anyway to have Lexus Relax Extended for another year (originally was supposed to be March 2023), but next year I'll go with Extended Warranty Plus. Thanks for the info!
  11. 6. Ribble View Garage, Rough Hey Road,Preston,PR2 5AR, Tel;01772 798856 From RoR list
  12. I've got it in 2013 RX450h Luxury trim, but it's buried in the actual climate control in the main menu, not as a standalone button on the dash
  13. Do we know if 12V batteries are covered by extended warranty? (Not lexus relax)
  14. I know it's not the most cost effective option, but I'm just rocking Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 with Android Auto for Phones Google App on it.
  15. So I rang up the dealership again, and they've confirmed there's will be a gap, but because I've already paid for the service plan upfront that means I can actually bring the service date forward. Which is good news. Not ideal, as I've done 3k miles since March 2021, but at the same time it's just a minor service anyway. Which would then cover me till 2022 by Relax, where the car will be 10 years, and I can take Extended Plus (they don't make it easy, do they!). Thank you very much for your help Phil.
  16. Rang up the dealership, and unfortunately because Relax was introduced in July it doesn't backtrack to March 2021 when Major service was done. And I can't take Extended Warranty Plus either, as car is not 10 years old, and hasn't covered over 100K miles, and on top of that I can't bring date forward, as I've got Lexus Service Plan, so Catch 22 really. Mileage won't go over 100K either, as I just use the RX as weekend car. I might try and speak to the service team, rather than sales team, maybe they'll know how to sort it out. I haven't got any issues with the car, but at the same time I'd prefer to be covered. Head gasket went on 3GS450h, and generated a £4K bill, and gearbox went on 04 LS430, which was about £2K to repair, so... I'd rather be covered knowing my luck.
  17. Thank you very much Gents. I'm sorry, I had some personal stuff I had to go through, so haven't been present on the forums as much as I would like to, and for the life of me, I couldn't get any info from either Lexus website or Lexus sales advisor, otherwise he could've mentioned there's Lexus Extended Warranty Plus. Saying that though, it's not an excuse to not do a search. My bad. Last question, before the ban-hammer drops. My RX is from 31/12/2012 (82.000 on the clock). Am I understanding it right, that when it comes to service in March 2022 (minor together with MOT, as I had major this year 26/03/2021), it will be 10 years old and I will be able to get the Extended Warranty Plus? And I guess between now and March 2022, I've got no warranty, as my extended one expired 03/10/2021?
  18. Morning Gang I just rang up my local Lexus dealer to extend my Lexus Extended Warranty, and was told it doesn't exist anymore? I asked if they co-exist together, but was told no, which is a shame really, as extended warranty covered more than Lexus Relax (for example, suspension?). Lexus Extended Warranty Google also leads to Lexus Relax plan. A bit of a bummer really, I know it sounds odd that someone would like to pay £1000 rather than get something with £500 service FOC, but when you add the parts not covered under Relax, it's not that sweet?
  19. Just to make sure I got this right, use V-Power rather than E10 wherever possible, and have a maximum of 2 children to keep my RX450h running at optimum performance?
  20. Lexus Extended 😊 Thanks Herbie, £6 Araldite Epoxy from screwfix fixed this. It's actually more stable now so I guess it was on it's way out. I've applied Araldite epoxy, held it down for 20 mins, then left the car for 2hrs came back and as good as new. Thank you for all your help as always gents 👍🏻
  21. Unfortunately they've removed the side buttons in facelidted 2012+ RXes. Ooooh I like the sound of Araldite epoxy resin when googled, thank you that should do the trick!
  22. Thanks Herbie, but then again it needs to be pressed every now and then to confirm doesn't it?
  23. Any suggestions on a replacement? Did not expect that and I guess it's not covered by the lexus warranty
  24. Thanks. Got it to work. Didn't know it requires so much force to activate, but then you can release the brake slightly. It's just the initial push that's required. All good.
