  1. Has been working fine for the last couple of months.Until yesterday when it displayed the mobile with a ref line through it & when you clicked on the phone via car it gave the message no microphone. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  2. Hi Richard, my next thing to try is to connect my wife's phone to the car & see what happens as she to has the Samsung s3 mini.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  3. Phone still works fine on my wife's Qashqai, so it appears to be more car related than phone.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  4. Does anyone have any ideas, my Samsung S6 has stopped connecting as a phone via bluetooth but it still connects as a music sauce. When I click on phone on car system it comes up with message microphone not connected? I have tried un-paring phone & then adding it again but get the same issue. Am wondering if it is something that should be investigated by dealer as the car is only a couple of months old, was hoping just re-paring phone & it would be fine but not the case. 5. Oh, looks like I have started something off now! It's more a people's perception regarding the status of the brand, build quality & comfort for me go to Lexus. The keyless entry door handle lock & unlock sensors on Lexus are far superior compared to that on the Jaguar. Big decider for me was car availability with my choice of extras & Jaguar did not come anywhere close on fuel consumption, even with an all aluminium body chassis arrangement. XE felt cheap when I had a 24 hour test drive although the 3.0l supercharged had plenty of acceleration it just fell short of being worth the money. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  6. Paul, enjoyed your write ups, I to have been converted but from Jaguar! Again I went for the Mesa red on an IS 300h Fsport which is very different from the 3.0l XF that I part exchanged. Have been able to get an average of 42.6mpg over my last fill up. Have leather seats, but went for the heated & cooled option & have found them more comfortable than jag. Have got used to the mouse set up & have worked out the sat nav now. Phone works well on mine & use the voice dial for short cuts. Only slight down side I have found is the boot opening is smaller than I was used to. But I am still glad I made the choice that I did. My consumption on the same journeys was averaging 22mpg, & although it does not quite have the same prestige as jag, it is far more exclusive! Wish I had made the change before now, got mine in October but have not even covered 1500 miles yet. So I am sure my consumption should improve over time both as the engine loosens up & I get more used to it. I was going to say when the weather warms up in the summer, but it is not really that cold yet. Notice you too are a Staffordshire owner, where did you purchase your NX from? 7. Beg to differ on this, but I can drive down a long drive from my house & then down another road before the engine cuts in on my 300h F-Sport. This is if the battery has about 75% charge & air con off seat heater on & rear screen & mirrors on in eco mode. You do have to be gentle & you cannot go up any sort of incline. The most distance I have driven is about 1.5 miles on battery if the car has been used & is warmed up. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  8. Just remember a 97ron fuel is the same what ever make it is & the same goes for a 97ron as that is what the British standard is for! All the fuels come from the same terminal into branded tankers where they add their own magic cocktails. Yes some additives have more detergents than others but in a vehicle that has done a few miles & has a good bit of carbon build up on valves & pistons can assist in keeping compression up. So you can wash this off & cause your engine to run like a bag of spanners (worst case!) Carbon build up is pretty much s thing of the past which is why we don't have to regularly have engines de coked like they used to need in the days of leaded fuels. There have been additives been sold for fuels for as long as petrol stations have existed & if you believe all the hype then buy them all & add a magnet round your fuel line & buy the most expensive fuel you can find! Your just what the marketing people thrive on! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  9. I have a Smart Roadster which is only set up to run on premium high octane fuel, power & economy are hit hard if you use standard unleaded. It all depends on how the engine is set up to perform. If in doubt check the handbook which will tell you what your car is set up to run on. There can be changes made by tuners to make the benefit of alternative fuels, or just have a nitrous kit fitted! 10. Just got back from my end of year get together with Jaginfo forum at Donnington. Funnily enough mine was the only 300h Fsport in attendance! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  11. Well I would be up for that, last time I went to Japfest was in my RX8 about 7 years ago. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  12. Best morning run so far was 80 mpg, but a fair bit is down hill, but it is still from a cold start & I am still getting used to the car .Have ave only done just 700 miles since purchase last month. Still lovin it though Good luck with your search! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  13. I can vouch for the consumption my trip to work is 4.6 miles & from cold managed this! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  14. Hi Steve2006, oh well never mind onto next year Then! I am off to my last Jaguar get together next weekend in the cold, but it's usually a good laugh. We could all arrange to go to the same place next year as this forum at Donnington motor museum. Has a cafe & the museum for inside space & still covers the car theme as a place to get together. Possibility as a venue? Has to be arranged with them, but there is no charge other than entry to the museum if you want to go round. They do section off parking depending on numbers attending, we arrange about 2-3 months ahead. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  15. Looks like the garage door should be able to just have the damaged strips removed & the guide rail replaced or straightened. But if it is going through insurance who knows what will be done. At least the car is still drivable & no-one was hurt, just wondering if I should fit a roller door to my carport on not after this? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  16. As you have increased the front track you will find the steering jeometry will not be 100 % as everything would have been set up for standard track. To get the best handling the steering geometry should be adjusted accordingly to keep everything correct. Your insurance could reject a claim if it has not been done correctly & notified to them of the change. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  17. Look great when kept well, but as others have said it needs almost daily attention. I had a metalic black Citroen BX & then later a Jaguar S-type in metalic black both looked wonderful. But took a lot to keep looking clean & cared for , just depends how much time you have & if like cleaning it. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  18. Just had a set of new winter Kumho KW27 winter tyres fitted to mine tonight. Now ready for anything the weather can throw at us, have been stuck in the snow & ice before I learned how good winter tyres are on a rear wheel drive car. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  19. So where are your wheels?Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  20. Would not waste my money on all season tyres as they do not perform well on everything. Prefer to have 2 decent sets designed for the different temperatures & conditions. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  21. Have booked my 300h Fsport in next week to have a set of winter tyres fitted. I did buy a set of 17" alloy wheels with a view to fitting winter tyres to them, but when you add in the price of the TPMS sensors it would have not worked out worth it. Less than £500 for 4 tyres fitted & the storage of my other set & £70 to do it again. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  22. My best fuel consumption on my regular morning 4 mile trip to work this morning. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  23. Cheers Brian, looks better still when the sun is shinning or it is lit from a flood light. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  24. Found that my tyre pressures were set at 40psi giving a firm ride, have dropped them to 36psi. Super ride now & was not any problem to re-set tpms to accept the change in standard pressure. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  25. Well that's two of us then! Surely there must be more than 2 people on this forum who would like to have a meeting somewhere to compare cars & swap ideas & show what they may have added or improved on their cars & have a coffee or bite to eat? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
