  13. I had a new water pump fitted at Lexus Woodford, pump £78 + Labour =£500 plus another £200 for a fan shroud that was leaking This I found strange as in the 9 months I have had it I never had to put any water in. they also said the tracking was out another £100 to do that. Total rip off I won’t use them again
  14. I would certainly have the Diesel option even if it was an 1.8 oil burner it would still be quicker than the standard IS slug and give decent fuel economy. I am really disappointed with my IS it drinks juice like there’s a hole in the tank but isn’t quick enough to overtake the local kid delivering pizza’s I have been using a diesel passat for work for the last three weeks it’s about the same size and weight as the IS it’s quicker, quieter (with the windows shut) and gives about 42 mph so long as the shape doesn’t change to much then stick me down for a Diesel
  15. I have found the best way is to heat the plate up with a hair dryer and gently pull it's usualy 4 strips of dst Ade
  16. First thing that attracted me was I needed car with a good sat nav system and the DVD system is very good but no postcode input even on the new disk. I liked the looks of the car and it wasn’t a bmw so I brought one had it 6 months have to keep it another 18 months (company scheme) every day I get more disappointed with it. Very slow, Very Very thirsty, I could suffer one but not both, Incredibly thin paintwork, wheels that corrode, boot the size of a glove box, bla bla bla the list goes on, and don’t start me on the cost of servicing just been quoted £1400 for an intermediate service, and this is supposed to be a luxury car :tsktsk:
  17. Hi Duncan Please put me out of my misery does a 01 is200 (CD at the top) have a mute wire and if so do I take it from the back of the radio or the amp and what’s the colour. This has been driving me nuts
  18. Hi All I have put a detachable towbar on and am doing the electrice i need a live feed for the relay box. Is there a feed in the boot some where or have i got to run one in. If i have to run one in can i take it from the footwell fuse box or has it got to come direct from the battery just thinking i don't want to drill holes etc ;)
  19. if it helps the guy i spoke to at lexus tells me it's the same disk thoughout the range mine's 2004 2005 ver 1
