  1. Ok... Similar 😉 Mine from different heights and angles although car is on driveway which has a decline. It's a Fox exhaust from Germany with black tips instead of standard silver.
  2. I don't know whether to be happy or sad about this 😉 Worth knowing though. Thanks. Wonder if I can get it in carbon fibre 🙂
  3. Been thinking about this one.... and then it came to me. GT3RS 3.8 and 4.0.... Nicer sounding than an RS3 IMO and with just 6 cylinders 🙂
  4. @doog442 funnily enough when I was last in there the only other person in there was my next door neighbor who has an IS250. We were both there for the airbag recall 😞 Didn't realise Jag was relocating. Any dealer around here can't compare with the Audi Sport dealer with its bloody gym and Spa 😉
  5. @Comedian I thought standard PS4 is available in 19 now as they pop up on Black Circles nowadays. In terms of wear, they are wearing well. @Stuno1 I ran Conti 6's all around at the Nurburgring a few times now and found they overheated regardless of tyre pressures. I ran them at 32, 36, 40 and 44 (usually had 3 passengers in car). May be that the ISF is a bit more of a lump than your old pocket rocket or may just be my driving 😉 Really impressed with them but needed cooling down between laps. My next Ring trip isnt until next year so can't really compare the PS4S yet. Should add that I am getting a spare set this weekend from my friends tyre place at 50% off. Just need to get up early 😞
  6. @Linas.P yep had to make sure I mentioned the S at the end. I think previously the PS4 wasn't available in 19 and above but that has since changed so need to take extra care when ordering 😉
  7. @Linas.P I run the PS4S around. Very impressed so far. On black circles they are a few quid cheaper than the PSS as well but assume that's because stocks are limited for the PSS Randomly my fronts are made in the USA and my rears are made in France
  8. Going back to my Integra Days I had both a DC2 (well 2 DC2's) and a DC5 Integra. Both had a similar 0-60 time but the DC5 was about 4 seconds quicker to 100 than the DC2. Mind you I may be getting confused with the S2000 and the Integra's 🙂 DC2 had a 190bhp 1.8l with 5 speed gearbox and weighed 1100kg. DC5 had a 220bhp 2.0l with 6 speed gearbox and weighed about 1250kg IIRC.
  9. You get a right mixture at my one in Poole. On one side you have a Sunseeker salesyard. On the other you have a Lotus garage, a general sportscar garage (inc. Ferrari) and then Jaguar Land Rover. The old folk go in to buy a CT200H and come out with a brand new Range Rover towing a yacht which has both a 1991 Ferrari 348tb and an 18 plate Lotus Exige stowed away in the cargo hold 😉
  10. @Flytvr That is an option I think but then I can't get a new car past the Mrs 😉
  11. Slightly larger but my head is being turned to an E63 AMG Wagon. (5.5l turbo). After covering 960 miles in 6 days with the wife and kids and all the kit that needs to be carried.... I may need a bigger car 😞
  12. I think what he meant by other areas is that the older you get the higher the need for the next car to be a Porsche 911 before you succumb to a Metallic Violet Honda Jazz 😉
  13. Oh I have got the exhaust as well. Just keeping that for a rainy day 😉
  14. @Matrixxxx - Left exhaust tip assembly boxed up and will be posted to you tomorrow. Must warn you.... needs a clean. @ all other ISF owners.... If by chance you ever need a tip other than the 3:20 at Newbury and that tip happens to be from the right hand side of the ISF then give me a shout 🙂
  15. I can remember the Astra Max turbo diesel van out accelerating something like a Lotus Espirit years ago. Also the Evo 8 FQ400 got beaten from 30mph in 6th gear by something like a Kia Pride on Top Gear 😞
  16. Experienced this in my S2000 ownership. A friend of mine had a VX220 turbo at same time. 0-60 we were pretty much side my side. On paper I think there is 0.2s between them. Once we were moving though and accelerating side by side in say 3rd gear, the 220 left my S2000 for dead (mixture of lighter car and torque from the turbo).
  17. @Stuno1 I enjoy the thrill of acceleration rather than top speed so 0-60 is important to me personally but not from a bragging rights perspective. It came in handy last week when my 3 year old decided she needed a wee on a busy A34. Pulled into parking layby, she did what she needed to do, I then managed to filter nicely into a gap (with no run up on layby) by booting it (to which my kids giggled and the wife shouted at me) that a slower car may have struggled with 🙂 People always ask 0-60 and it's amusing to see their reaction when I tell them my fairly ordinary looking ISF can do it in 4.x seconds depending on what you read. 30 - 70 is always the one I look at though. The ISF as you well know covers this quite nicely and multiple car overtakes on a decent A/B road when conditions allow are effortless.
  18. I need empirical data... If I can't measure it, I can't manage it which is what the wife tells me from time to time 😉
  19. So the opposite of Fun is.... Danger. Back to the drawing board (literally) for you 😉
  20. Was my 1st venture into RWD. Not my best choice. Next up was a 350z. Much better handling albeit slower and a tad heavier 😉
  21. But not the ISF... Good man 😉 Come on... Spill the beans... What's the 400bhp FWD car. I am putting money on a beefed up Seat....
  22. Have you ever driven a DC2 Integra Type R? One of the greatest drivers cars in the world and it's FWD. It was more fun than my RWD S2000 which just wasn't a nice car to drive on the limit as opposed to my Integras (I had 3). I had an AP1 S2000 which wasn't the best handling version though. I personally prefer RWD but going FWD doesnt make you less of a petrolhead. If you are pottering around in a MK1/2 GTi or a 1.9 205 GTi then you are probably more of a petrolhead than someone driving a BMW M4 "PCP Edition". With the correct diff at the front as per RS275 Meganes, FK2/8 Type R's or the new I30N I flew around in recently then there is fun to be had with FWD. I would certainly take a FWD Mégane RS275 Cup S over a 320d 😉
