  1. @Jgtcracer congrats - a Honda - excellent cars 😀 Seen hundreds, but never driven one. I’d imagine it’s one of the most fun / practical combinations money can buy. You know Rallye Red is known internally as PINK at Honda 😜
  2. Always enjoy little journeys out with my F buddies. Yesterday we did something different - a night blat. @Mark G came up with the idea of driving from the South West, through London and on to the East coast to watch the sun come up. So, yesterday evening, we met at Membury services (on the M4) and together with @emjay82 drove through the night. Here are some pics from our little adventure! Mark & Mark - a great night / day. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
  3. I agree. What I will add is that no F car lacks performance for public road driving.
  4. I’ve spent more time in the Exige than the Evora. Yes, Lotus peg the Evora as a softer car - but trust me, your average Lexus driver would label the Evora as a confused track car. Lotus would have been better off leaving Porsche deal with that market. Anyway, I’m sure you’re driving skills exceed most others, but I maintain that most of us, on the road, driving sensibly will have no issues with the weight the RCF carries. Lotus to RCF - that’s ummmmmmm, a big change in direction 🤷‍♀️
  5. With regards to ANY RC-F, why are you and so many people hung about weight? The RC-F is a road car. It performs way past what is acceptable on public roads. If you want to drive on the track, buy a bloody track car. You really don't need reversing cameras and lane assist on the Thruxton circuit! Have you ever driven an IS-F in a spirited fashion? Have you driven an RC-F in a spirited fashion? I ask this as it would be a handy comparison. Having driven many miles in both, I don't feel the extra weight. I'd also argue that most non skilled drivers (such as myself) probably couldn't tell if the car was 150 kg lighter or not. Bottom line, don't just accept what you've read in a motoring magazine! Get out there and drive the cars - then see how you feel. There's a real world out there!
  6. I can you save you the effort. It doesn't work. All IMHO of course.
  7. @Mark G would be chuffed if he could get such high MPg
  8. Absolutely. Push hard - £25k. Shocking trade in value on that car!
  9. Yeh, it appeared a couple of days ago. Great value. 65k is nothing
  10. Thinking about the press car thing, my biggest concern would be the warming of the engine. I’m sure we all religiously allow the engine to warm up before giving it any beans. I doubt press drivers have time to even worry about allowing the engine to be sufficiently warmed.
  11. Not sure I want anymore power. If I could get some more low down torque, great.
  12. Twice. Once in that car and the practice run was done in your’s! 😜
  13. I love that image, but it does annoy me as well. Why would a GT car need to be put through this. It’s not a class B rally car
  14. Your car killed several fluffy animals on the Grand Tour. I’m not impressed. I notice you are not divulging all of the owners however. What about the last set - Mr & Mrs Smith (average age 86)? I regularly saw your car parked outside the mobility shop! 😂 THIS IS A TRUE STORY
  15. What a coincidence that this thread was started tonight. Glad you found it useful.
