  1. Thought so not that I'd mention anything yellow and green today 🙄 Big Rat
  2. Did I hear the word Silver mentioned 😂 There will be a Flytvr along in a moment ! Hows she driving after yesterday's mod ? Big Rat
  3. Well done it's all a bit of a game, now you've got some extra cash to to go have a blast ! Big Rat
  4. I've seen the 'F' blue calipers on here somewhere was that you ? Big Rat
  5. Sorry Tom should have said you will need 10 liters, this will give you a tad for topping up. Big Rat
  6. I'm a believer, and it is a personal thing to stick with what the manufacturer has recommended. Good quality oils are pretty similar and I would never EVER scrimp on it same as tyres really. But as always everyone has an opinion. Big Rat
  7. Tom Last major as mentioned in previous post the oil was £40.92 + vat, not bad. Big Rat
  8. Yes you are right they were hollow spokes, ceramics, reading the invoice they also refurbished the wheels, which is not so noticeable from the picture in a light anthracite. Car gone now, very pleased with the IS-F you think some time going to get yourself back into the fold or you continue with the Germanic route ! Big Rat
  9. Hi Tom i think you will find its £245.00, you could try and supply your own approved oil in a sealed original container fair saving if the dealer accepts this, some do if you are regular or wish to become a regular customer. Its that age old decision to be made dealers or Indy route. Big Rat
  10. Hi Norman Spooky this and for Tims benefit my last car had an invoice in the documentation from this very same company. Another blue Porsche with yellow calipers ! Now with my IS-F I have considered getting them painted, with anthracite wheels yellow would look good, but the 'F' blue would also be worthy of consideration. Big Rat
  11. Hi Kieron Thats precisely what I did and you are right I have been told it's capped so it's negotiable. Big Rat
  12. Thanx matey, never had an LS used to be a passenger in a 430 of a mate for many a trip from U.K. To Spain working on sites, I do not remember it ever being a problem, the boot was rammed with luggage, 4 builders and a every tool Makita made at the time 😂. Big Rat
  13. Good question Stuart there is a thread running on that subject matter now headed ' Plenty of ISF's for sale now '. Bug Rat
  14. Very nice something about a silver Lexus in a car park 😉 Big Rat
  15. I understand that is the case always went to main dealers myself as cars I had M3's and 5's I was just not prepared to give them a get out clause, there are some if not better Indys around though one in Bristol can't remember name who have an excellent reputation. Big Rat
  16. That's because they never oiled it I did say last night before the Guinness bottles attacked me 😂 Looks good filter is 'F' blue as well 😏 Big Rat
  17. Some similar to yourself Tim, throttle actuators + coils all twice ! Alloys 3 cracked - injectors 2 - abs wheel sensors 3 - cracked exhaust manifold n/s Oh yes battery - twice. Got to say it again though that engine, oh have I mentioned that engine 😋 Mine was 06 Carbon black, black leather. Now if they had made them with a manual like in the states maybe some of the costs relating to the box we had here would have made it a little more reliable and a tad cheaper to run 😏 Big Rat
  18. Yes it does seem a few have looked at it, shame but there are a fair few for sale at the moment. There will always be another I looked for 7 months and travelled from Bristol to Sheffield in the end. I have been keeping a list of those cars that have come up for sale in the past that have taken a while to sell. I would not put reg numbers up on a public forum as I do not think it's the right thing to do. I also now have an almost full list of all those cars that were press demo and magazine fleet cars in percentage terms for the numbers sold it's quite high. Nothing necessarily wrong with this I bought an 'x' press demo 911 some years ago had a hard life but it had a fantastic spec for what I paid. Looking and searching for the right car is part of the fun after all ! Big Rat
  19. Yes you are right, the warranty will stay the same ONLY if it's the monthly policy. An annual one will go up in price when you renew after it's passed 60k. Big Rat
  20. I had the 40K two weeks ago at Lexus Bristol, with the Gold discount came to £416.00. The plugs I had done 6 months ago before I joined the club with them and negotiated it to £240.00 that was both bills with vat inclusive. So in effect I believe the two together equate to a 60k service, all depends if you want to stick with the dealers or go the Indy route. Big Rat
  21. Unless you have the contents from the brinks matt job sat in the shed I would try and find one from BMW Auc so you have the warranty . They are cheap for a reason plenty of threads going back years on various BMW Forums with the very expensive issues these cars WILL through up. I ran one on the basis above it was one owner before me low miles in 2 years 14.5 of work, glad I wasn't paying. But what an engine 😳 Big Rat
  22. Which M5 did you have in mind the latest V8 turbo or the previous V10 ? Big Rat
  23. Seems like I'm not the the only one who's had a few to many Guinness 🍻 Big Rat
