Good man, great choice, you won’t regret it.

Would be a gsf for me too, no room for the kids in the back of an rcf with me driving.
the more I look at the gsf the more it grows on me. Really like them, be e few years before I change though

Thanks for the update Paul, sounds good, hope it all works out as described. Many thanks for your efforts,

Yea, cars under warranty are getting them replaced.
I just thought I'd ask as I hadn't heard of it being an issue but seems to be over in the US.
Slight ticking on startup that goes away once warmed up could be something that happens to lots of people but they just don't notice
Not heard of it over here.
had a good listen to mine for the ticking before I bought it.
if mine went I think It would give me the push to fit after market as the stock manifolds are not the best design.

For those of you like myself that use shell v power, there’s a shell station two minutes away, might not make it there and back on a tank 😇

Picked the RCF up on Saturday
Managed to get my brill ISF in the pictures as well, which will be greatly missed!!
I'm sure a few of you will recognise the dodgy character in the background
Many thanks to Paul @Big Rat for taking so much time out of his weekend to meet up a few week back & for his invaluable advice.
As far as the RCF goes - its bloody brilliant!!
Congratulations David, cracking looking car. Hopefully see it in the flesh at the anniversary meet 👍🏻

Hi Matt,
Hope you & yours are all well & thanks mate👍🏻
TBO up & down like a yo yo - bizarrely feel almost guilty about it because it seems a bit unnecessary. Came home tonight & thought what a stunning car it is - never get tired of looking at her. Genuinely had no intention of parting with her & will be a mix of excitement & great sadness at parting with her on Saturday. Other than my Supra this is the longest I’ve held onto a car & seems strange to be moving on without there being a reason for it.
Still I had no such reservations after the test drive & looking forward to spending time in the RCF.
Will post some picture on Monday & as you say hopefully catch up soon.
All the best
David.
All good mate thanks, enjoy the new car, make sure you get this one to H&S to enjoy that v8 symphony 😎
im sure you’ll have a great weekend.

Absolutely agree with ths.
I am picking up an RCF on Saturday and 2 weeks ago I had no intention of parting with my beloved ISF which I fully intended keeping for the long term. I was offered such a good part X I felt it would be silly not to give it serious consideration and the test drive sealed it..
Can’t help thinking that Lexus must have some confidence that they can sell these cars to be offering such good trade in values. I usually sell my cars privately, but as others have said, I have doubts that I could have got much more than the trade in value to make it worth it.
David, gutted your parting with the isf, a truly mint car.
must be excited yet a little sad to see her go.
get some pics up of the rcf when you can, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
all the best, matt

I too have been looking a long time. In all honesty, I should have bought Stuno's grey one way back when. But he was miles away and a test drive of a normal one disappointed me greatly. (Didn't go manual mode or sports...but even then in my opinion the ISF needs Apexi Throttle and H&S to make it a car that I would keep) Missed out on Giblet's black one, because I don't want black, otherwise that would have been a great buy. Again, missed out on Tom's because I wasn't convinced by a stock ISF. My problem is, I only like two colours within the isf range, the blue and the grey. The blue ones cost a bomb.....and once you get upto 25k, all sorts of other fancy machinery comes into focus.....
Stuno’s is back on the market on eBay, got 87 k on it now, up for £16.995.
glad you didn’t buy giblets black one. 😎

Another vote for v power. As it’s not used daily I’m happy for the extra few quid to put in decent fuel.
my previous subaru’s Always liked v power!

This is another reason I went with the ‘F’.
read a report from a guy that dyno’d his low mileage rs4, decoked the inlet and dyno’d again. If I recall it was down around 50 bhp before the decoke

I have been in contact with Lexus Cheltenham today and the guy who for sometime has been the events organiser no long has that role and no replacement has been appointed as yet.
To be fair to him he will endeavour to contact Lexus press office in the next few days to see if there is any more progress as regards a date at the very least, he assures me as soon as his replacement has been chosen then contact will be made.
More than this at the present I cannot do just keep our fingers crossed.
Big Rat
Worst case @Big Rat get the keys for the LFA and we’ll sort the meet ourselves 😎

Have you been waking Bluewater up again?😉
How can you tell! That was the only quiet part of the whole place. Did get a little video clip, sounds great in there. If there’s a few of us heading to the 10 year anniversary we’ll all have to try and meet up and run up together. Pete will have to give us an hour head Start!

Very nice. I’m a big fan of the blue.
hope you enjoy her. You’ll have to do a little write up on how different you find the ‘F’

As soon as I saw this I was convinced it was @kieron1977's. I even messaged him about it, but it's not his.
So anyone know this ISF? Another one in my favourite colour!
Deron, have a read through the old posts.
stuno1 put lots of info about his car on here.
looked very very tidy whilst he owned it.
