Dealer tells that the problem is the tyres: ballancing or damaged tyre. My problem may also be because of warped discs when i am not using the breaks. The disk is hiting the braking mechanism and the stearing whell vibrates. Try push the pedal a little bit and turnd the wheenl left right a little. If it gets stronger, it may be the warped disks problem.

Same vibration with my car, but i feel it during fast lift of, and going faster. But i don't believe that it it balancing problem, because i did it ~2 times with winter wheels, and summer wheels(dunlop sp9000).

Personally i changed the bulb without taking arch liner. I took the bottom security. After taking 2 screws out, take the fog out with some moves or just put the bulb in without taking the fog light. good luck

Same rattle with my car, but it occurs not always, more when i go on bumpy road. It looks like some part of panel is loose. The rattle seems to be in the left side of the door (near to the safety belt). Sorry, no advice from me, but if you know what to do about it, i will also be thankful.

Hello, i noticed a problem. Sometimes my car termometer shows nonsense, like today, i started the engine and it showed -23 degrees, but for real it was +6 degrees. So i couldn't use colder temp in the car, because it was blowing warm, and when i turned to +18, it blowed colder, but not cold! And it is not the first time! What the hell is wrong? i tried to reset the ecu, but it didn't help. However after few hours it was back to normal. Any ideas?

Dunlop Sp9000, i love them, they look good, they are quiet, they stand on the road very good and they last very long. When i bought my car it was 8000 km on the clock, put the dunlop on and only now, when it is 75000 km on the clock(included 2 winter seasons) i am buying a new ones, Dunlop of course. Darius

I don't have a supercharger:) so Would You recomend me to cut them out? Or put aftermarked one? And what about power? Will it increase a bit? Noise will be much louder? SO pre-cats can be cutted out? Lexus said they can't, Check lamp will blink all the time, revs will be unstable on neutral, more fuel will be needed and noise will be louder. So what is the truth? Has anybody cutted them out here?

The lack of power came with some time, stronger and stronger, so it is as You say, not a sudden effect, i must said not right in the topic. for replacement kat, i am from Lithuania, hope You know where it is:), so getting one prom pro-lex would be difficult, however interesting. as for the decoration on the exhaust, yes i mean exhaust tip. I have no pictures here, but i can explain. The chrome tip, that was on the exhaust pipe had 4 cm smaller hole than the stock pipe, i mean 2 cm from one side, so around gets 4 cm. I noticed that car got sluggish, so after 2 months i took it of. I think someone said it also could be the reason why it choked, because the exhaust system is very sensitive?

Hi, for quite long period i was experiencing lack of power with my IS 200, 73k on the clock. Only now one engine specialist suggested me to check the katalisator. Indeed it could be the reason, also sometimes i have egg smell in my car and some burnt smell, it also shows that it can be the katalisator problem. So for new one lexus asked me 750 EURO without VAT. So hell no! I think about aftermarked one (~200EURO without VAT), but it will need some changes in pipes lenght and so on. What do you think? Will be any problems with aftermarked one? May it be the main reason of not smooth and very very slugish ride? It realy was good half year ago, and suddenly it changed! Also could smaller(~ 4 cm) decoration of exaust pipe cause katalisator to choke? Thanks in advance
