Hi, i can say only one thing about air filter, if You don't want to have any power loosing problems, buy toyota/lexus original one, not made by other company. I bought aftermarked for half a price of original and after few days i threw it away, peace of crap. looks like original, but the material seems to block the air. Buy the original one. "These are brand new filters supplied to OE quality standards direct from Japan by Nipparts". It is the same filter as i bought. I think it is quite expencive for stock filter 60 pounds, in my country it cost 25 pounds.

Hi, after changing air filter i also find small sand-dust in the air filter box. Before I thought it was because of dirty filter, but now it is clean! Is it normal? because my Audi's air filter box is clean, whether filter is clean or dirty B)

Besides issue about sticky gearbox. Don't take to much attention about that, just learn how to shift fast and there will be no problems.

I think it is quite common and not a problem. My also wobbles when i drive in 1st gear slowly and push or release accelerator. If You go in 6 gear, you'll also notice quite strong vibration.

I think i am in trouble!! Now the acceleration is really shi**y. It even looks like car has 2 VVTI's?:) One is on 4500 RPM, other lower. It is getting worse! One day (not the only one) i was going home, 1, 2nd gear fine, but the 3rd was bad, i shifted it in, and car didn't accelerated for about 2 sec! Like it choked. Same with 4th gear. Tried to slow down and floored again. It was the same. I stoped, turned the engine of. Went to the shop, came back, started, looked normal again! What is that? i changed stock air filter, checked the spark plugs, they were fine, for checking if it was the fuel filled the gas tank with the 98, and not as usual with 95. Any advice?

What do You mean steering twitched? what was the speed?

Had something like that too, only on wet road. The car turned around 180. Was quite scary and fast, but stoped it on the time. Was interested why TRC didn't work?

Thanks, today filled the gas tank and used the injector cleaner, feels better. About spark plugs, it sounds messy, but i'll will surely try to check them! Regards

fuel injector cleaner is something that You mix with fuel, right? And about spark plugs, i asked few months ago in Lexus service to check them out, they said, that they must be changed only when the clock shows ~80 000 km? Nonsense. besides, when i asked them to check them out anyways, they told me that it is hard to get them checked! Is it truth? or can i check them myself? Thanks

Besides, when the car is cold, i mean standing whole day in quite cold weather, car drives bad, the engine has no power at all, i am not talking about high revs at all. It get better when temperature gets to still position. I did't noticed that for exsample half year ago

Resetting ECu helps for a short time i think And optimax, as i understand it is better fuel, i don't have the exact one in my country, but i'll try NITRO 3000. Besides, could that be the fuel filter problem? Feels like car twitches a bit when hardly accelerate.

Hello guys, some time ago i noticed that my acceleration is ****ty. Realy, it got worse and i don't know why :yack: it seems that acceleration is slower in the 1 and 2nd gear when lifting, i mean longer to go to 6 RPM. But the worse is, when i go in 3 - 6 gear. For exsample, i go in 3rd gear in 40km/h then i accelerate to 60, and go back to 40, ride a bit longer in that speed, and hit the accelerator, and s :tsktsk: happens, it is slow and not smooth, besides sometimes i feel vibration in pedal when i push it help me guys, i am sad about that, i want to go to service, but they may say it is normal, fu :tsktsk: it is not!!! So what may be the probs? Filter(it is quite dirty), system, spark plugs? I hope, You'll help me

Hello people, i want to ask You, what is wrong with my headlights if it shakes when i ride not smooth road. When there was simple bulbs i didn't noticed anything like that, after installing 7000k HID "XENON", i noticed that lamp is shaking when i drive. I think i noticed this, because HID is far far stronger. As i hit lamp with my hand, i can notice this too, seems like lamp is loose, but in lexus they said that it is normal, because the lamp controling motor is on some kind of spiral. Can it be tightened? help please, it annoys me quite much! Regards

Oh, that's natural, if You won't fix one problem this will cause another one:/ Besides, i feel clunk noise in the left wheel when going slowly over small bumps, stones or etc. Is it balljoint or shock?

Scorpion, what do You mean? Because my car is really lower, i feel that, because i can't enter my garage without hiting-scratching the bottom of the car, the lower feeling happened after winter So?
