  1. The south circular starts at the bottom of my road it's going to be a massive Impact to people. So many cars will effectively become worthless Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  2. Only other option would be to try carpro ceriglass. Hard work by hand mind. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  3. These are LED and the only current ones that have a controlled beam pattern. They are expensive but like others are not road legal. Fitting normal LED bulbs will not give you better lighting if anything they will be worse as it's an uncontrolled beam so the light just sprays off in all directions. They look brighter to look at but are not. These also have the built in fans for cooling I believe. Looking at about £150 a pair and you need to purchase the control boxes with them separately. 4. Autoglym glass polish is fantastic stuff and is very good for deep cleaning Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. Agreed. The paint is soft so marks very easily. They may have polished it with polish full of filler so the first time it's washed it all comes out. But this may not worry some anyway. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. Ps mine was for sale but I'm unsure what to replace it with. Want an estate but choice is limited. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  7. Carbon build up isn't an issue in the UK. Calipers can go at any time if they have not been serviced as this is not on the schedule. Mine is 2007 and low mileage but has had a caliper and the water pump done which is more common. Depends also on what model you want and spec? Colour? Interior? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  8. If you know someone that can do it I would. Personally I just do things like that myself as it's quite straightforward. You don't have to go for lexus supplied brakes. Check about as you can get upgraded discs and pads at very good prices. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  9. Discs and pads even when purchased from lexus are not massively expensive. The majority of the cost with brakes is the fixed labour cost they attach to them which is where they make their money. You can pretty much do discs and pads on most cars in an hour or but they will charge a couple of hours for each. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  10. They are absolutely solid and great cars. There are a few about and the right one will come up at some point. The problem with the photos is that they always look good until you get up close. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  11. Do you mean discs not calipers? Discs can be solid or ventilated. I've attached a picture of a ventilated disc so you can check them against your car. A solid one is just that no holes between where the 2 plates are on the picture. If you change discs you need to do pads at the same time. If they are squealing as described they may just need some copper grease added. If they have been on there for that length of time they may have just worn out anyway. Do you have any photos? 12. Don't believe that's diamond cut that's shadow chrome in colour and very difficult to match. Normally a darker base then the lighter over the top. Only way to get the whole wheel right is to do the whole thing. Trouble is it's unlikely to match the other 3! I would see what they can do to get it as close as possible on the damage area Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  13. You ok if I PM you? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. I just got a standard battery but it has a 3 year warranty so I'm happy with that. Can't believe a battery will last 12 years, it goes to show the quality that goes into these cars. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  15. I got mine printed out a few years back. All it shows is the work carried out at each service Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  16. Decided to put the is250 up for sale at the start of December as I was looking at getting an estate. To be honest I didn't put my heart into selling it so stuck it up on Gumtree at quite a high price, this was mainly due to there not being many low milers about and wanted to aim at a private buyer. Just after Christmas the car was struggling to start and I suspected the battery, from my understanding the car is or was on its original battery so nearly 12 years out of a battery is pretty good in my books. The other half did suggest the car was telling me it didn't want selling so I've replaced the battery and taken it off sale. Compared to when I got it, the car is in much better condition due to the amount of detailing I've done on it. Am still thinking of an estate but will wait and see what happens. 17. I think this is an excellent point. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  18. There are a few on gumtree. Most of the dealers sell on all the sites now anyway but if your happy to buy private there are a few. You bothered about colour or spec? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  19. There's a few around at those prices to be honest. Not had a close look at them but like mine seem to be low mileage ones. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  20. That looks nice. Those wheels do look good but the ride may not be as soft. Front lights are starting to yellow but that's a simple fix. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  21. I wouldn't touch it to be honest. Maybe the water pump leaked and the coolant fell out and they carried on driving it, damaging the engine. I had mine up for sale but took it off. Want an estate but it can wait for the time being. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  22. Not had them on my Lexus I'm afraid but ran them on my old Civic Type r ep3 and thought they were a very good tyre and much quieter than the Bridgestones that were on it before. Couldn't see why they wouldn't work on the Lexus. Thought the sidewalls were a little soft so if you want comfort then they would be ok. Or go for xl if they did them to firm them up a bit. Got Goodyear asametric 3 on my is250 now and they are perfectly fine. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
