    It might be worth trying get a few quotes for the respray from local bodyshops? When I had my little "accident" quotes ranged from £150 - £500.. The final price I paid was £170 as the cheapest guy gave me the feeling that he'd do a cheap job!! Was over the moon with the work I had done in the end, and i'd recommend them to you but they're probably too far away (mid essex)

    I agree Wills, I think its even better than SSX3 which lost the plot a bit. Project Gotham 2 is pretty good also, but the only Lex (an SC430) is pretty poo compared to everything in its class so i never race it!!! :shutit:

    I use a tape adaptor for my iPod as I found FM modulators such as the iTrip very susceptable to interference and seemed to lose a lot of the bottom end and wash out the mid range. In my experience tho, the tape adaptors can vary in sound quality. The 2.99 Argos job I had sounded very muddy and killed all the top end! the Dr Bot one from the apple store is tons better (but much more £) and only loses a bit of the top end.

    Ok, here's a little poll but not really a poll. What is your favourite video Game(s) (preferably with cars in, although knowing you lot it ain't gonna be legend of zelda!) My current favs: TOCA Race Driver 2 on XBX - No Lexus found yet, but some pretty sweet NSX/Skyline racing round Bathhurst. GT4 Prologue on PS2 - a bit short and hard, but incredibly realistic!

    Not guilty guv. was driving up to middlesbrough in a rented 2.2 litre Astra coupe thing.. that was until I got hit up the back by an HGV at J25 on the M25. Completely destroyed the astra and my neck muscles!!!! :(

    I use it on my Mac. Can totally recommend it too! and they let you burn the downloaded songs onto CD too so you can still turn 'em into mp3s. 79p is a bit steep tho as they are €.99 in europe which is about 60p right?

    Hmm... anyone know how close montrose blue is to royal shaphire? close enough for it not to look silly? I had fan type squirters on my pug 206 and they really do make a difference. and look cool! B)

    Went to the Knebworth one today... tons of fun, especially the RX on the off-road course! I didn't stick to the prescibed course tho that electronic suspension raising thing is waaay cool too! :) The quality of the nibbles was pretty good too, I think I spent too much time at the refreshments buffet tho as the Lexus staff were giving me very dissapproving looks!!! oh, and I stole a posh Lexus pen. (it was an accident honestly!)

    I was just giving my car a top-up wash to get a couple of unsightly birdpoos and where I was rubbing the poo off its scratched my paint! (through the laquer!!) what the hell had it been eating?? anyway, I'm gonna try a bit of turtle wax coloured wax to disguise it.. NOT HAPPY :o see ya'll at 5.30ish

    Yup... its national Lexus damage week.. Next week is national bike week (I kid you not!).. i'm locking the IS away and taking my bike! I'm more paranid than cheech and chong now..

    Hi Froomer. I just got a dent in my back bumper with broken paint fixed. Two guys I can whole-heartedly reccomend in essex are: Darren from 1st paint (Romford - mobile) on 07931970145 or Euro Vehicle Engineers in Boreham near Chelmsford on 01245 460088. (not mobile) EVE actually did the work and do a really thorough job, the paint on the back bumper is now better than the rest of the car! and it really puts to shame the body kit painting done by Lexus! also they are quite fond of pound notes ;) hope that helps you mate.. :D

    Or you could look for one with the optional 18" Styling pack alloys. AFAIK they don't suffer the same corrosion probs and look sooooo lovely (quite a few of the IS's I looked at when i bought mine had these wheels, so you might be lucky)
