  1. Mine had XGG95 applied today during its second service, it applies to the camera apparently. I mentioned about the other issue people have been having of the connected services requiring you to log in over and over again, it was claimed there is a software update coming in a few weeks to fix it and Lexus are aware of the issues people are having ...
  2. There are two brake hold functions - there's an automatic one that operates on an incline (I have not tested the next point on the NX, but if anything like the ES it releases automatically after a few seconds, this is intended to help you do a "hill start") and then a manual one that you need to switch on if you want to use it. You will also find the manual brake hold only operates for a couple of minutes then you will get a message either to press the brake pedal to keep operating it, or the park brake is applied automatically.
  3. No there's no beep. When it was working if I was stood in the way there was a refusal with a double beep.
  4. Yes all other methods still working (not checked the button on the dash now you mention it). Next service isn't too far away so I will bring up then.
  5. Title says it all really, has anyone else experienced this? I tried toggling it off and on again in the settings and have also cleaned the rear bumper. Another quality niggle one doesn't expect ...
  6. I've had no issues with the couple of Type 2 Pulse chargers that I've used, it takes a few seconds to start the charge session from the App but generally successful.
  7. I've dropped down to around 49 to 50 miles indicated range (with AC) again on recent charges with the weather being a little colder. I am estimating getting more like 36 to 40 miles achieved range in the current weather conditions. Does anyone find the range drops off faster as you use the battery up? I am typically finding if I charge and get say 50 miles indicated, after a frequently taken 18 mile drive there's around 29 to 30 miles indicated remaining (depending on traffic conditions and driving style). But then that remaining range can easily be gone on the return trip. Also I have found occasions with the ICE kicking in when 1 mile range indicated.
  8. I believe you can deadlock from the boot button - on a second press you hear the "clunk" of deadlocking engaging.
  9. Have you had any work done on the car? I have the exact same "check engine" logged in the app on the day I had the fuel filler fix done. I assume there's some emissions regulation related thing that was tripped by working on the fuel filler.
  10. No not doing anything particular. I usually charge at home on the wallbox, occasionally at public charging. I don't think I've seen anything much above 45 miles achieved range despite what the reported range says. I am watching more closely now ...
  11. If the brakes have got a surface film on them due to not being used you can hear that rubbing off when the friction brakes blend in as you reach zero speed. The "creak" I am hearing is definitely not that, it is more of a "handling" noise if that makes sense.
  12. Today's recharge showing 56.2 / 52.8. My experience is When I first got the car the first charge showed about 40 miles indicated range, it then slowly crept up with each charge and peaked at just over 60 (with A/C) in the hot weather in the summer It has slowly fallen off again dipping below 50 (with A/C) when it was cold recently, the last 4 charges with milder weather have been around the 52 mark with one a couple of days ago over 53 again I've not got objective data on how far this lasts in reality as I've have had a few journeys recently using both engine and electric but I think I am probably getting more like 45 miles range depending on driving style and ambient temperatures For info my car is now about a year from when it was built and I have had it 9 months, covered about 15k miles. I'd be interested to know mileage etc. of others cars particularly where people are reporting indicated ranges around the 45 miles mark or even less.
  13. I have the "creak" as well and reported it to the dealer when the car was almost new, they claimed they couldn't find anything. It is still there but perhaps maybe not as bad as it used to be, or perhaps I have just got used to it.
  14. I am wondering if it might relate to the legal requirement that a certain amount of the windscreen has to be demisted within 10 minutes, perhaps the heat pump can't achieve that (it presumably doesn't matter if it takes longer when you are using remote pre-conditioning). Indeed, and I was going to reply to say I normally keep it in eco mode.
  15. I think with only a couple of miles EV range remaining then it will run the ICE. I've noticed that on a couple of occasions with only 1 or 2 miles indicated then the engine runs. I think the ambient was cold on both occasions.
  16. Hi all, does anyone know if it's possible to defog or defrost the front screen when driving without the ICE running? I've noticed If I use the app to do a remote preheat then the screen is defogged / defrosted using the heat pump, the ICE does not run If I am driving and press the defog button then the ICE is always run - this is rather annoying as often this only requires a short period of time to defog / defrost but the engine carries on running (yes in EV mode!) until it has presumably completed a warm-up cycle
  17. I hadn't appreciated that even existed until after reading this thread I looked at the handbook and then tried it, it certainly helps although not 100% a solution to the dirty lens.
  18. Yes a "tethered" charger is one that has a cable permanently attached. Harrier Man is right, the cable is a bit of a handful (but at least being a Lexus they provide a bag to store it in and a cloth to wipe it down when it's wet!
  19. It's called a matt:e I believe it's an additional isolator / earth leakage detector / load management device - at least in my (outside) installation the matt:e and a breaker are fitted in an external box which BG deemed was "non standard" and charged me £80 for.
  20. I experienced this too this morning, offside rear passenger door wouldn't open but fortunately all the others did! Is the general consensus this affects earlier production vehicles (mine was likely built Feb / Mar 2022) and has now been addressed?
  21. Nope, I was told they had replaced like for like but expected it might fail again; they hinted there might be a revised part in the future.
  22. Yes BCM = body control module. I wondered what the specific details of the recall were. I read on an Australian site “Under certain conditions, if the headlamps are activated using the Lexus Connected app, the BCM software simultaneously illuminates the headlamps and the daytime running lamps (DRLs) and the headlamps remain illuminated without the taillamps illuminating depending on the position of the light control switch." Of course that may be a different version of the App and different logic for what lights switch on and when ...
  23. Well it has been replaced and the fuel cap release now works again. However they said it might be a temporary fix as they have replaced it with an identical part and they suggested they might be waiting for a "new improved" type of part. There was also a recall done on the BCM, not sure what that was concerned with.
  24. It's booked in tomorrow (Friday) so I will report back in due course ...
  25. I'm surprised at the experience of "lots of revs but virtually non-existent acceleration" if you are in HV mode then the acceleration is pretty good. Only in EV mode there is a bit of a "dead band" above approx 60 mph / 100 kph where the acceleration tails off a bit presumably due to a torque limitation of the electric motor(s).
