Yes Stuart, I thought that TRS's charges were actually very good, considering they seem to be used by several of the Lexus garages... Perhaps some of the Lexus garages should keep a wheel, any type of wheel... So when a Lexus owner who has a 21 inch wheel and wants it repaired, they can still use their car...

Stuart, I have heard back from Urban, who paid TRS... The repair cost is £150 ex vat for the ceramic polishing, and repainting of the spokes. They also charge £30 ex vat to remove and re-fit the tyre. Bearing in mind, they seem to be one, of only a few companies, that can repair the 21 inch wheels. Their price isn't OTT...!? The equipment they use must be expensive...

Stuart, I have asked Urban how much it cost. I will let you know later. I had been looking for a good used, well priced Sport+, for a few months. I hadn't looked on Pistonheads for any cars, for probably a couple of years, always used Autotrader and Dealers websites. It was by searching Pistonheads that I found Urban selling the Sport+ that I have bought for £55k... I had never heard of Urban. I see they are a company thats main business is modifying 4 by 4's, with their own bits... They have been good to deal with. It's a coincidence that they are in Milton Keynes, where there is also a Lexus Dealer and also TRS...! The Lexus dealer replaced one of the rear wheels, and also replaced the Fuel Pump. Its also showing on the app... Is your Sport+ your first Lexus...?

Thanks A J. I have just had a phone call from the guy at Urban. They now have my wheel back from TRS, and will be delivering my LC 500 on Tuesday... He said he thought he saw 3 other 21 inch wheels there... He is sending me some photos to put on the Forum... I think I will set up a new Topic to ask how many Forum members have ordered a Convertible... Be interesting to know, how many...! KW

Well spotted A J. Their Facebook page also says the Convertible arrived in the UK on 5th Oct... Lexus Exeter said late April early May... Lexus Edinburgh said March... I have just paid my deposit to Edinburgh... I am surprised there hasn't been any reviews of the Convertible driven on the UK roads... Watch the savagegeese youtube videos and let me have your thoughts... KW

Any Forum members placed a deposit for the Convertible...?

Should be hopefully on Tuesday... TRS are very busy...! Urban are delivering cars during Lockdown... I have been looking at several youtube reviews of the Convertible. Many of them say the Convertible has a more comfortable ride, than the coupe... As we both know, Convertibles usually have a more 'stiffer' ride... I am placing a deposit tomorrow for a Convertible, which I am advised should arrive in March... I think when the Convertibles arrive in the UK, and get reviewed being driven on the UK roads, and in the UK Car Magazines... The waiting time will be significantly longer... I will let you know when I have driven the LC... But after nearly twenty years, I imagine it's a great car...! KW

Hello A J, Urban Automotive arranged for Lexus Milton Keynes to replace one of the rear wheels, and then took the other one to TRS for repairing... Yes, the mark is from kerbing the wheel. If you enlarge the 4th and 5th photos, you can see the mark clearly... Gentlemen, as a new owner, whenever it finally arrives!, see my post in Wheel repair. I too, will be more than happy to get even 500 miles on a tank. I have had several electric cars over the last few years, mainly because of not having to fill them up...! Gordon, I see you bought your Sport + on 24th Sept... and you have probably filled yours up many times. Reading your posts you have done several miles in yours already...? How many miles per tank full, do you think you have been achieving...?

Hello Chris, I have bought and paid for a 2018 LC 500 Sport + from Urban Automotive based in Milton Keynes. The car is showing reserved on their website. I am in Cornwall and they are delivering the car to me. The sales guy I am dealing with found a mark on one of the rear wheels. And Lexus Milton Keynes replaced it under its warranty. When the car was back at Urban, the same sales guy found a slight mark on the other rear wheel. The wheel has been taken off, and was taken to TRS UK, also at Milton Keynes. TRS's post code is MK12 6HS. The sales guy has told me that TRS will do it as quickly as they can, and was told it should be possibly sorted by the end of next week... because they are very busy...! The sales guy has a photo of the wheel, and I have asked him to send it to me... When I get the photo I will put it on the Forum... And when the wheel comes back from TRS, the sales guy will take a photo and send it to me... and I will also put the photo on the Forum... I have never dealt with Urban, or seen the car... I think when they finally deliver the car, it will look great...!!! They have also bought my Taycan 4S... So I am changing from a very quiet car to a very noisy car...!

I don't think there are any/many concrete roads anymore... But when the M5 had two sections between Exeter and Bristol in 2000... You didn't know which surface you were on, because the ride was so good... Like yourself I have had many cars, and many cars with air suspension. But my memory of my LS400 was that it was great to drive any distance. I have a used LC 500 coming next week of which I am looking forward to driving. I shouldn't have left it nearly 20 years to have another Lexus... I bought my LS from Plymouth, and the manager talked me into having the Lexus option wheels, which made the LS look better... I shouldn't have had them fitted because the ride was noticeably worse, although the LS looked better... I think the photo of mine might show the option wheels...? Have you got the option wheels on your's...?

Thanks Malcolm, Urban cars tell me that Lexus Milton Keynes are currently doing the fuel pump recall on mine...? Yes, some apps are basic and some are good. The Jaguar and Porsche ones are very good... Does the Lexus app show journeys...? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I have bought mine from https://www.urban-automotive.co.uk/ Its still on their website. Its currently at Lexus Milton Keynes, having a new rear wheel under its warranty, because of some 'marks' on the wheel, they are also doing the fuel pump safety recall as well... I haven't yet seen the car, Urban are definately looking after me... I have rang Lexus Plymouth and they have checked its service history etc. Its next service is due in August 2021. I will be buying an extended warranty before it's 3 years old, which is 30th Jan 2021. Urban have been very good to deal with, they are also buying my Taycan 4S. I know its a Lexus Forum, but I have just bought a new Honda e, great little car...! Yes, I bet they are fantastic cars. I am looking forward to mine coming next week... I am in Cornwall, and don't travel to far from home because of a serious accident I had 9 years ago, and my wife unfortunately has MS... I have watched so many youtube reviews of the LC 500, that I am itching to get it and drive it...! I have the VIN No so I will add the car to the app this afternoon...
