I had the same car model year 2017 though for a year and just recently switched to an RCF. I noticed it while driving long motorway sessions that mpg dropped dramatically so I asked my local dealer I was told in long motorway driving only petrol engine is involved unless you drive lower speed to involve electric engine mpg should drop having 2.5 engine, to sum up fuel efficiency can be only good if you drive a little of motorway and City Drive a combo maintain good economy. I tested in city only and I had 22mpg too so I had to drove a few miles of motorway to charge the battery which I think is ridiculous.

Thanks for getting back, Armytrix referred me to Viezu Technologies for the exhaust and they price it £4335 to fit it + VAT. glad to hear you haven’t got any problem with it I wonder why the Lexus dealership told me those things to put me off. By any chance do you know the exhaust (Armytrix) Bd readings?

Seems a lot of work mate and money of course 😂 Ghost Immobiliser is a must specially if you don’t have a private garage and live in big city, well I live in London and this RCF I got attracts lots of attention I mean a lot so I was worried a bit as these days thieves can steal in 20 seconds, I contacted 2 companies dealing with car securities to install it they sent their technicians but both failed to do the job because F models are rare unlike German cars they work on daily basis. Eventually I had to contact Autowatch and asked for an experienced guy to do the job and finally someone could install it. Finally, I can sleep at night without looking out of the bedroom to see if the car is still there 😄 If you ever want it I can share the details believe me it can save you hours of time because not all can work of Lexus cars let alone the F models 😊

I was after it honestly and as rightly said ”shambles” I bought an RCF, Stuart from Coventry contacted me again for an RCF 2015 in the black and red interior with pictures and all that I told him sorry I bought one last week 🙂 I never seen that car advertised though

😂😂 that's a good idea to send it valve closed, also she told me if I sell not a lot will be interested as modified cars raise insurance and I will lose the warranty, hearing all put me off 😞

I searched a lot and this exhaust is a beast too load I reckon then went for Armytrix but my local Lexus dealer warned me that I will have problem with MOT test with after market exhaust honestly that worries me I asked above 🙄🙄 still waiting for someone to get back.

I think you should contact your local dealer as it is not normal, I never had such problem with my RCF in fact mine is very responsive unlike some people complain maybe it depends on model year of the car but do reach them and keep us posted 🙂

I passed my driving licence last year and I used Performance Direct insurance with £3000 excess I don't wanna say how much is my insurance though 😁

Glad to know you haven't faced MOT issue by deleting back box, I was talking with a friend he changed his AMG exhaust and failed mot so the poor guy had to put the stock pipes again that scared me a bit honestly that's why I asked you :)

There is not a lot of contents in regards with this online like videos and user feedback... The best is to take the car to them to install it :) Did you inform your insurance when you fit it? Will this impact your MOT or road tax?

I am tempted to go with Armytrix as we have the supplier here and the vid you shared of your car it’s loud enough maybe not as GThous but it’s amazing ;)

Thanks mate for the info, will installing an exhaust have an impact on warranty and the engine on the long run? Do aftermarket exhausts required maintenance too or they are durable like stock exhausts?

Well that’s really good I suspect you have the hybrid LC500 with 3.5 engine, there is no way you can get that figure with a V8 engine!

You must be driving on Eco/Normal mode if you hammer it a bit MPG won’t stay that high, yesterday I drove to m3 from London and come back with my RCF and Rev it really well in sport+/Manuel using paddle shifters and it dropped to 16mpg and have to full the tank again lol Have you ever checked the range when you fill the tank? When I do the range shows 216miles
