I disagrees I prefer Lexus infotainment system over apple car play. Plus when I got the car I was playing music from my iPhones Bluetooth but now I play All my music from a 64gig Sandisk usb which is great.

And yes I did remember to disconnect the cars Multi media normal Bluetooth connection as they will clash with CarPlay system.

My car has some 3rd party I think called CARPLAY system installation from previous owner. I disconnected all the wireless pairings as I got annoyed everytime I switched car on my phones WiFi would connect to it automatically (it connects via Bluetooth and WiFi simultaneously). Now I’ve gone back to trying to use it I re paired the Bluetooth and WiFi all works Apple car play and the mirrioring feature works But no sound will come through the cars speakers I sat in my car for a few hours trial and error trying every setting alternative on the CarPlay settings and my iPhone settings but nothing seems to work very frustrating. I’ve contacted the people that installed it but they was not much help and they 400 miles away now.

Why don’t you just replace all four with oem parts?

Re sports car comment does that not depend on the driver lol? I’ve not pushed mines yet properly until i change the tires in next 6-12 months from the previous owners crappy davanti tires. I’m a proper driver then I’ll be happy to test your conclusion lol

Random question re the hybrid battery mines is a mk4 gs450h 2012 let’s say I went to an official Lexus dealer and paid 2k (or whatever the cost is) and they changed the hybrid battery. re the newly fitted battery as we know technology moves on year to year etc would the newly fitted 2021 hybrid Nickel-metal hydride battery be a reduced weight compared to say the original 2012 hybrid battery? Or any other advantages over the old 2012 battery?

scary thought how much is it to replace an electric side mirror?

Random question hypothetical? My car has electric folding side mirrors if when I was driving another car driving the opposite way on a tight road and they clip my side mirror forcing my side mirror to move on impact would this destroy the side mirror or has Lexus prepared for this and it will push in fine so I can use my hand to pull it back to the correct position or will the motor etc be destroyed? any ideas?

I messed around with the paddles today I understand them a lot more now because it’s a 6 gear cvt I can relate it to my previous cars six manual gears 2-3 gear accelerating the fastest I get it now. 😊 even though Re critic kinda makes me think in manual flappy mode they Should of /could of deleted 4-5-6 and go straight to D mode after 3 makes more sense to my brains intuition. As once desired spirited speed reached in 3 D auto mode would be fine.

Must be a logical reason other then Kia feel like seeing owner twice a year for a chit chat 😅

I think my car begin its life 1st owner in Scotland it’s new home in London with me now 😅

I just bought two oem sensors didn’t buy them myself or fit had garage do all that but worth it for piece of mind.
