  1. Customer is the priority no matter what the age of vehicle is. I couldn't agree more...maybe I'm just lucky with my experiences.
  2. 300H is 5 yrs old so not nearly new. Dealers have only a limited number of courtesy cars, so for me at least, my way of booking car in for service work, mot, and having courtesy car available is/has been trouble free and in the main I generally go for Saturdays, also I have done the while you wait option and whiled the time away drinking coffee and eating pastries.
  3. Maybe there is more of an issue with the non UK dealerships ??
  4. Not really as the 300 H goes to a different dealer and thus far never had a complaint....others have mentioned not being able to arrange a courtesy car, in my experience it is far better to book car in face to face at the dealership plus I give plenty of notice as to when I need to book car/cars in for mot, service, recall.
  5. Think it's a two horse race as one of the three has backed out due to bidding war for dealerships ...plus there is the added complication of Lexus/Toyota service areas being shared with other marques of the Marshalls portfolio...clash of who owns what !!!!
  6. I posted this some time ago elsewhere on the forum....
  7. I had one last year when my F went in for service at Maidstone and I have to say I was quite surprised at how nippy it was and to be honest I'd have one as a town runabout.
  8. I have to disagree....the service departments are constantly monitored for good customer service and customers are selected at random to complete surveys and any subpar marks against dealership result in loss of financial benefits from Lexus/Toyota as it is Toyota who monitor the surveys. This I know for fact as my partner works at a Toyota dealership and she deals with this aspect in her role.....also have to add I have never received anything other than first class service from both the dealerships I use.
  9. There were a set of GS F wheels on ebay from a breakers that were breaking a crashed GS F ....but they were not cheap, around 1k each !!
  10. Excellent news, hope there is little or no damage 👍
  11. Definitely not only Lexus !! https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2023/04/09/thieves-hacking-cars-through-headlights/
  12. By the looks of it it wasn't a Can-bus theft very much a relay theft ....were the keys in a Faraday pouch ?.....worrying to hear a GS F has been taken, truly hope Car is recovered damage free 🤞
  13. Not only Lexus are subject to this problem. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2023/04/09/thieves-hacking-cars-through-headlights/
  14. You are correct sir, it was definitely on AT a while ago ....

  17. Any automatic car cannot be towed with the driven wheels in contact with the road. In the past when my auto Mondeo needed towing (by the AA) the driven wheels were lifted on a cradle and the rears placed on a bogie trolley which was towed behind the AA recovery van, and the Ford indeed had a towing eye etc etc. Both the GS cars in the family likewise have towing eyes the h has a spare and the F has a tyre repair kit and jack although I have purchased a road hero space saver for the F as I don't like the thought of being stranded with a flat tyre.
  18. To be fair I use two different Lexus dealers...Jemca Sidcup for the GS 300h and Lexus Maidstone (Marshalls) for my GS F and I have to say I have had no gripes at all ...indeed the Lexus dealer in Cheltenham where the F was purchased were extremely good also.
  19. The dealerships are being offered to the various toyota franchises in the areas that Marshalls operate ....just three if I recall correctly.....
  20. All the Marshall Toyota/Lexus dealerships up and down the country are up for grabs ....Toyota is unhappy that Marshalls are part of Constellation group that owns Cinch which in their opinion cheapens the Toyota brand which they would rather not be part of ......so I am reliably told 🤫
  21. Asymmetric 6 to the front and 3 to the rear due to the staggered set up and the load rating (94Y rear, 96y front) non run flats.
