  1. A VERY long time ....it was up for sale on AT before it went in to have the purple wrap done...which I have to say I wasn't a fan of ....
  2. I believe technically you should always notify your insurance company of any incident As soon as you inform your insurance company it will have a negative impact on your renewal invitation, claiming or not still goes against you as it is recorded as an event.
  3. I would think the drivers seat would need to detect a body sitting on it for the easy entry/exit scenario to function.
  4. DVD player works in my Gs when in park, screen goes off once D is selected although sound still plays.
  5. To my knowledge there are no Lexus dealerships in Chatham there is a Toyota dealership though.....I live in Sittingbourne....the nearest dealership would be Lexus Sidcup as the dealership in Maidstone is no longer after the Marshall transfer to Steven Eagel which is now Canterbury.
  6. Or hold the up shift paddle and 'box will revert to auto...
  7. Sorry buddy you're a bit late to the party this has already been posted by another member
  8. My service plan, set up when I visited Lexus Maidstone just before the dealership went to Steven Eagel, is valid at any dealership and not tied to any one franchise. Maybe it was due to the change from Marshall to Steven Eagel at the time.
  9. Are service plans not administered by Emac ?, and as such it is not a Lexus product just the means of a finance house covering the service costs as and when vehicle goes for maintenance and or mot 🤔 ???
  10. Benefit of four doors and a boot with my F 😁
  11. Carnoisseur sorted the space saver for my GS F and were very accomodating, so long as it clears the front calipers etc etc. They were prepared to take the 'kit' back should there had been an issue with fitment.
  12. Can I ask why there could be insurance implications ?. I have a space saver for my GS F and save for having it laying in the boot I like the security of having it should an issue occur as I am not a fan of the gung supplied to allow a temporary fix that would lead no doubt to having to have a new (not cheap) tyre.
  13. Just had my renewal notice for my GS F.... 59 yrs old, full no claims, garaged, not used for work, 6000mls pa....£659... up £232 from last year...
  14. The engine side of this has been covered when he did his review on the GS F.
  15. You pays your money, you makes your choice....can I ask why you seem "appalled" at those that do have servicing done at main dealer. Don't have a pop at those that want security of having their vehicles serviced where they choose, I for one am not "clueless".....
  16. Maybe try Lexus Sidcup (Jemca)
  17. I'm Sittingbourne...with luck the new premises will be up and running by my next MOT/service...I believe they have already earmarked a Land Rover dealership that has/is becoming available.
  18. They are looking at viable sites to open up possibly in Ashford....as informed by the service assistant last Saturday week when I dropped car in for service.
  19. I use Jemca Sidcup (for the 300h) and I've always popped in on my home from work to book our car in and also secure a courtesy car with the service desk, something the call centre, in my experience , are not always obliging to do especially for a Saturday booking.
  20. Why not deal with dealer service desk in person....I find that approach much better.
