I would agree with tax issue but there is one white RCF on AT for £27k 2017 £180 tax and none interested... Assuming this car is quite ok and can get relax warranty then 2015/2016 should be sold for £20k? It looks interesting to watch what happens next but not to sell atm.

Currently RCF market is the worst I have ever seen. So many good cars listed for £25k… I would bet you get max £23k for yours at the moment. Maybe wait 3/4 months and hopefully get much better figure? I cannot see any RCF sold in last 2 months and some of them dropped even £5k already:/ looks like market is looking for a bottom.

I repaired my is250 with same issue using used parts from Poland as they have lot of breakers and none installs this system after crash, because they don’t bother. You will pay fraction of Lexus price if you go this route. PM if you cannot find any alternative in UK.

We have currently is250 2015 and we don’t complain. Somehow RCF has different back seat profile and kids were struggling a lot even if same floor area. But if somehow IS 2nd gen is too small then there is no option for me really to have a v8 sleeper up to £25k really. German brands don’t exist for me any more.

Thanks for saving me a trip to tricky dealer. £25k is way too much for 2010 isf, doesn’t matter mileage or even condition in my point of view. For this sort of money I would go straight to Japan auctions to import 2014 fully loaded low miles model for same or lower money and with some nice alcantara colour too.

It is going to be daily car as I had RCF for 2 years. Issue with RCF was that 12&7 years old kids don’t fit in the back. My boy was kicking me and daughter could not touch floor because RCF seats are so deep. It was annoying after a while + 2 doors I promised myself to get in next 5-10 years when this issue is gone. Also I don’t need a flashy car and didn’t like that all the people around looks at RCF, a proper head turner. A sleeper with similar engine would be great. I don’t care about people looking at it because I excessively break speed limits so no time to focus on them:) Personally I like the two blue examples. high mileage but maybe for the right price. Nothing near £18-£19k though.

Hi, I changed 4s to conti 7 on my rcf and they are better grip especially in wet. You can easily feel the difference. On dry hard to say, both are great. wear: conti 7 thread wear 240, 4s 300. So 4s will last 20% longer with same driving style. I hope that kills this topic:)

If you are quick and not moaning too much then go to Swansea motor auction. They have rx 450h with 99500 miles 2013. I saw this car and looks good outside but obviously it’s an auction with no warranty. Guide price £10700 but can go lower if you are lucky. Comes from Lexus/Toyota dealer. smva.co.uk Good luck

I meant prices of used cars decreased so much recently that there was no point keeping LC500 purchased 2 years ago to make any savings really.

But LC500 2 years ago the cheapest 5.0 were for like £55000. Now you can easily take one for £42-£45k if negotiate hard. That would not justify higher road tax.

I would like to see a drag race RCF vs LC500. RCF is 200kg lighter so easily beating LC, am I right? None mentions that and I never found a comparison of these 2. If I ever changed RCF for LC it would not be for the look (I love RCF lines) not for acceleration, but for very nice quality materials feel. That makes a difference to some people. One of my neighbours has 2020 911 basic one apparently worth few times my RCF and every time I walk pass it I say naaaah. So many different cars are more appealing to me in this particular 911 price bracket. But maybe my neighbour wants this WOW factor from peasants? I don’t know, need to ask him one day:)

I did mine in Osaka Toyota Specialists at 62k for £180 all in. Now 75k and runs like new. Will do same around 120k if it’s still mine.

Nearly 6 months of chasing them and nothing. No parts available. Is there anything customer can do against Lexus in this case? A safety recall that cannot be done because of mighty manufacturer?

What really annoys me with copart is that they change auction terms DURING an auction! This GSF was listed as pure sale and now suddenly a reserve price popped in. What a con this website is, unbelievable.

When you mentioned about maintenance you mean what exactly? Fluid changes or something extra on top of Lexus services?
