  1. Yes it certainly is Franco. I should imagine that bottle would cause a lot of upset in some places🤐
  2. Thanks SB Appreciate your kindness. I agree anyone can do what they like with their hard earned money. It's just that different people have different priorities and that's fine. It's a free world -- Hang on... or is it☺️. Anyway best wishes to everyone no matter what your car preference is. It would be interesting to see what other people would spend £70K on - put it in the bank? World cruise? Second hand Morgan and a cheaper runabout. If only......
  3. Ooh er missus. Sorry if I upset you🥸. Cheer up Doris.
  4. Dichotomy? I had that in a restaurant in Paris with pommes frites many years ago. My wife preferred the Andouillettes. Now they are a really horrible thing. A bit like the Tories but smellier..
  5. What I don't understand is how we ( the trampled workers - 45 yrs full NI contributions "comrades"😁 ) all have less buying power and are generally quite a bit poorer ( think 14 yrs tory *incompetent* gov't, wars and badly managed disease control ) and yet restaurants seem busy and people buy stupidly priced cars that lose money in a titanic style. I just don't get it either. The answer for me is don't buy silly priced things like £70K+ new cars or go to rip-off restaurants or UK holidays. We have a lovely petrol burning Lexus that should last a long long time and intend to enjoy it. Might splash out on a week in Italy or Spain though😏??🤔 **I was being generous and polite by saying incompetent. I really meant crooked fit for nothing B********s. Phew that's better off my chest.
  6. There might be trouble brewing in the middle east - great news, put the price up and make more dosh! Yeah!!!😄
  7. Just read the article😮. When some of those BYD cars arrive and they get sold off for peanuts I might finally go electric😇. My target price to defect to EV would be about £12K for a new top of the range BYD model.💸🤭
  8. Unfortunately a lot of people actually do believe the gov't lies. The big issue is that we do nothing about it apart from wait until the gov't allow a general election and the next lot get in. Don't expect any favours from them either.
  9. Yes, I remember the Granada was notorious for the inertia switch in the wheel arch being triggered. Apparently naughty boys would give the switch a thump and disable the car just for a laugh when the poor driver could not start it.😏
  10. GMB

    2010 onwards ISF

There seem to be a few more recent ones on autotrader at the moment. Can't comment on how good they are but not particularly cheap.
  11. I bought my car from Stoke and they were very helpful with a document issue that they sorted out for me.
  12. Overheard at the Porsche service waiting room. How much? £2400 quid mate Are you sure? It's only a minor service? That's the normal price buddy It's outrageous! Well you did buy a Porsche pal! We gave it a free wash'n'scratch and the mechanic did a road test - 2 miles down the ring road bouncing off the rev limiter, that's normally extra matey. How do you want to pay?
  13. I never found it and don't know if a Lexus owners club exists.🤔
  14. This video makes sense and it follows BMW advice/instruction on new M5 and M3 engines.
  15. I bought this for my isF. It didn't want it so I had it instead.
  16. They are all a bit iffy and expensive.😝. But not as iffy and expensive as Porsche dealers🚙
  17. Do the right thing despite what they say and run it in properly!
  18. Just FYI all petrol performance car owners. I have just filled up with Shell V-power £1.699 per litre! The thing that puzzled me was the fact that the staff were not wearing masks or balaclavas.🤔🤠.
  19. Understood! tell me about it -- I also have an isF! Just tax and insurance make me weep.
  20. Sounds suspiciously like Bolton. But then they would have stabbed all the drivers and their families as well if it really was Bolton.
  21. I think they are going up in price since we last looked to buy one ( under £30K at the time about 18 months/2yrs ago ) - but certainly a great car - I can't afford one at the moment😭😞 Apparently they are going to bring out an even faster electric stinger GT but I would rather have the old petrol one. "It's not what you do it's the way that you do it" springs to mind
  22. We were actually going to buy one ( the GT ) until the dealer tried a dirty trick on us and we walked out of the showroom. We bought an UP Gti instead ( that was a can of worms ) - We should have got the Kia but as said the sales manager was as genuine as a nine bob note and we could not have any dealings with someone like that.
  23. Kia s are decent cars like a lot of others, they have had their issues but Kia seem to be able to sort it, although I would not say no to the 3.3 Stinger GT. Our old 2010 140,000 mile Kia ( given away ) is still going strong and has been totally reliable.
  24. But someone on here said that you get a free bag of weeds if you had bought a new Lexus?
  25. Build up of dust or grit from those dry Spanish roads?
