  1. thanks thats pretty good, i'm intrigued to see the footage at night.
  2. regarding the installation of dash cams, do the "pros" remove the head liner, a-pillar panel cover, etc? or do they just try to tuck it way between the panel and the car (hope that makes sense). i'm thinking to do it myself and remove things.
  3. cool thanks, I need to decide what to get in the next couple of weeks. The one i have fitted in my old IS200, has very good footage during the day, but at night, anything not infront of the car, is unreadable.
  4. How is the quality at night? is there a lot of glare? number plates easy to see from a fast moving car? Also did you have an option to add a rear camera too?
  5. i tried to contact Lexus through the blog like you suggested, but their twitter link doesnt work and i dont use facebook, therefore i kinda gave up
  6. Nearly there, lucky you. I still have a month to go
  7. I'm expecting mine in October., same as your car, except in black with mesa red interior. How are you tracking your order?
  8. apparently thats not avaliable in the European model
  9. Am thinking of using Prestige Car Servicing to do my 20k service, has anyone used them before? And does it, defiantly not affect my warranty? Thanks for any help.
  10. hi, i've had my is200 for 2 and half years now. and i've only notice recently, how hard it is to still change gears. even if i put my foot down on the clutch, as far as i can. i still have to gently push it into every gear, or i can feel/ hear a grinding noise. it is just me? i'm still under warranty, so i guess i can get them to fix it? also would they also fix my boot lid? cos it doesnt open all the way up when i use the boot release button. thanks for any help.
  11. thanks for the help guys. lexus woodford are saying £61 something for the front brake pads. its should all cost me under £85 then. better than paying them about £150.
  12. hi, i was wondering if you guys could help me? if i was to get an independent mechanic to fit on my front brakes, but i will obviously get the brakes from lexus. would that invalidate my warranty? i have like 1 and half years left on it. because i dont see the need to pay lexus £100 just to fit the brakes, when i can get it done for £20 from my local guy. i know this guy from before, because my brother has used him before, to put brakes on his civic type-r. thanks for any help.
  13. i've called them, and they said they need to have a look before they will do anything, so lets see what happens tommorow.
  14. thanks guys, i will do that.
  15. has anyone got rust on the their alloys (the lastest ones with the 11 spokes)? cos i recently noticed the bubbling near the edges of mine, wanted to know if warranty will sort it out. thanks for any help.
  16. ok then, thanks for your help
  17. the total mileage on the car is 4700. but for some reason it seems abit sloppy going in 2nd gear sometimes. is this normal?
  18. it also comes with a rear boot spoiler. Also its abit more expensive now is well, at £21,995.
  19. yeh that thing happens to me too, i always take the lights off when i need to use it.
  20. i also get the brake nosie, but i just use the hand brake when i park rather than using the footbrake, no need to put unnecessary strain on them.
  21. cos my 53' plate, clio did that beautifully. damn lexus, its so hard to see sometimes.
  22. when its raining, and you wanna get rid for the rain drop, by putting the window down and than up again. shouldnt it dry the window? cos i think i will need to get warrenty to sort it out.
