  1. Thanks Chris..............they should of bought a newer car :winky:
  2. Passenger door pillar - will start JTD BS (for an IS) where on the passenger door pillar? never seen it there Well mine is, same place as your tyre pressures on drivers side!!!!!! mine are on bulkhead, windscreen and vin plate. i have nothing on the pillar and have never seen one there. If yours is stamped on the pillar next to the tyre pressure sticker then i would do some very quick checking into the history of the car OK, for clarity - I have ones on bulkhead, windscreen, vin plate and a sticker on the passenger door pillar (i will get a photo later) - my vehicle was an exdemo, some am quite confident about its history. Yep a sticker, it has loads of other numbers on there too, but the chassis number is on there in full.
  3. www.metronet.co.uk - voted one of the best by ADSLguide.org, and I can confirm that they really are- been with them for 2 years with not one problem.
  4. Passenger door pillar - will start JTD BS (for an IS) where on the passenger door pillar? never seen it there Well mine is, same place as your tyre pressures on drivers side!!!!!!
  5. Blimey - your right it does unclip - after you removed the harness and 4 more screws :)
  6. not free, just extremely cheap. I highly recommend it ;) But if they're still not totally legal, why pay anything at all? Soulseek Not sure if it is legal
  7. £45 per Square Foot Build Costs for Residential!! Your having a Giraffe! At the moment developers are averaging about £110 per Square Foot and this is average Spec - one of my developments at the moment is £180 - but its Multi-Storey High-Rise. DJG
  8. Thats cool, many thanks - will try and order now.
  9. Thanks for that, I don't suppose anybody knows the Part No. so I can ring the big "L" do they? I don't know why it happened really! anyhow you say that the back unclips, I don't really understand sorry. I have replied in your thread too about the box. Many thanks
  10. Nightmare weekend continues. I installed the Prolex Aux-in Unit this weekend, all working etc. Drove home tonight and I have some dash buld failure - everything works just (fan etc) just the bulbs behind the fan (left Knob) and the A/C Temp controls (middle) are not illuminated - They work though and when you push the A/C button etc it lights up, its just the dial that doesn't. Because everthing works I am thinking that some bulbs have blown - what do you think........ Are they easy to replace, would obviously have to remove the Head Unit again, but how easy is it to get into the control section at the top........ Anybody know what bulbs I nned to order from Lexus. If I take it there they will surely charge me the earth!!! Any ideas?? Check out the photo to see what I mean.................
  11. Yep did that colin and it still didn't work I will take a look tomorrow when its light again, but i'm at a complete loss.
  12. Latest............. I have found that both door lights are on the same circuit (search on the forum) so that means that either the door switch is faulty as per colin or I have pulled a cable somewhere in the passenger footwell, I think this is the most likely. Thing is how the hell do you check that............ I there anyway of checking that there is actually power there..........mind you for the car not to be recognising the passenger door is open it has to be something pretty major - would a break in one of the feeds to the door light mean a failure of all mentioned? I would have thought just the door light wouldn't work........... Do you reckon my warrenty still stands??? :shutit: :shutit:
  13. Anybody? I took the door switch out and don't think its the earthing on that - could it be anything in the fuseboard?? I'm really pi**ed off please help.
  14. Chaps, my passenger door light (red one) is no lonnger working - the bulb is OK as have checked. The drivers is working still when the door is opened so have come to the conclusion I have blown the bulb when messing with it for my courtesy lights (footwell). Does anybody know the where I can find the fuse have looked but can't see it. Many thanks in advance. DJG EDIT: Just noticed that the dome light and the dash door open indicator doesn't work when passenger door openend as well - may be its the door switch relay thingy that has gone any body know what the location of that is?? I'm pretty sure it is........................any ideas
  15. Here -------> LINK The guy doesn't know? :duh:
  16. Does anybody know how to remove the following: 1. The cigarette lighter (the whole thing :) ) 2. The automatic gear surround - i.e if you were taking out the centre console. Many thanks in advance
  17. I agree that iPod seems to be missing the plot and is beginning to look out of date. Also iTunes does not aways behave itself on Windows, so all in all I will be looking for a different brand when I upgrade my iPod mini to a video capable player. ← I disagree, the Ipod is a design classic (as intended by Apple) it doesn't need to be brash with design and does simply what is required. Sony / Phillips will never compete in the design stakes, they may surpass in technology (eventually). It reminds me of the Sony Ericsson T610 - another design classic that still looks the nuts today.
  18. Hi I have fitted my footwell courtesy lights and it looks the nuts, am after a more crisp white light though. The bulbs at the moment are 12v -E12CA Does anybody know and L.E.D equivalent that will fit in and give the desired effect, i have checked out ultra-LED's but can't seem to find my way around. Thanks in advance. Daniel PS can a Mod change my title - to Equivalent. Thanks
  19. will the adapter deffo fit my stereo (2000 IS200, standard stereo) ← It may not do, another member with a sport around your age had a problem with the connection - his head unit was 18 pin whilst the aux-in unit has 20 pins. I have one at the moment waiting to install and its worrying me.
  20. Anybody found out the wire colours yet? the lights are here but unsure as to the wiring at the moment of the dome light!
