  1. Auto a must ???? Surely more like a luxury...that adds to the gas guzzling ?? :P Why I end up with a 4x4 (which is actually front wheel drive till it detects slip and then changes to power the rear wheels...or so I was told)..cos I wanted one.. ← If you have ever drove in London you will understand why I went for the Auto - Its a must in my book! Yours is exactly the attitude I was on about - Ok you wanted one, not a problem - but this is what the taxation is trying to curb, you don't actually need one (a 4 x 4 SUV that is) Anyhow I don't really care - I don't pay the car tax!!! or petrol come to think of it :P :P and double :P :P
  2. Don't see a 2 litre IS200 being exactly fuel efficient !!!....wht not sell it and get a diesel corsa and be more environmentally efficient ?? Ooo...and as you drive a gas guzzling auto I can't see you being in a perfect position to comment ← Hey, lates face it the IS compared with other 2 litre cars (petrol) is not that thirsty in my opinion. OK the omissions are not great - excepted. Auto - well I live in london so needs must, and wouldn't call it gas guzzling I drive very restrained. What I am referring to is mothers on a school run who blatently do not need a car of this type - its just for effect. In my job I am required to have Compact Exec so hands were in someways tied - how about you? I must say though - reel them in :P PS - I voted Labour, and am not ashamed to admit it, at least I have a job under the labour government!
  3. I saw loads of these in Toms TRD in Hong Kong, I have to say I wasn't a fan - bit too bling for me. I stuck with the TRD Aero Grill - out of interest they (Altezza Grill) were going for HK$ 1290 (roughly £95) in Hong Kong, how about Japan??
  4. i have just spoke to a toyota garage and they could do it for around £290.00 ← With Gold discount I paid £240 from Lexus Croydon.
  5. Ice Ice Baby.............................Ice Ice baby
  6. For me its some dirty little smoker who burnt the pillar before I got it..............hang on it was the service managers car at Bromley - dirty little f***** :P But that seems like a great idea - anybody got any pictures???????????
  7. It is a shame, I am after a diesel next, but having got used to my Auto box in the current IS, am not going back to manual - never ever!
  8. BUMP.......Me too, can we have a group buy?? Can any body sort this?
  9. I see the q's have started to form already, I needed to fill up this morning anyway as nearly on empty - had to wait 30 mins as people stuck in £5 !!! Utterly ridiculous!
  10. Have peeps seen the new Alfa 159 shots? Back end is almost identical. Infact apart from the front grill I think its very similar indeed: See what you think....... Alfa 159 I really like it and am tempted. ← I wouldn't buy an Alfa, it would fall to bits in no time ← I think their getting better, and reserve judgement until it comes out offically - you have to admit though they make the sweetest looking cars!
  11. -Hi mate,1st thing how many diodes you using (i used 3 ) if you pm me your email address i will send you some pics of what to do :D ← I only used 1 :duh: PM sent - thanks

  13. Right - sorry to drag this topic up again but I only tried installing at the weekend - guess what I couldn't get it to work - this is how far I got! Connected in to nearside brake light feed, then ran cable ro nearside fog light feed. Attached diode and then tested. Result - Turn fogs on and off independantly - WORKS Foot on brake - Fogs and Brakes come on - WORKS PROBLEM - even after removing foot from brake everything remains LIT up, tried Diode in reverse still the same - Frustrated by this point!!! :duh: Anybody got any ideas what the problem could be?? Thanks
  14. See Here: Centre Armrests EDIT: - Whoops Same time
  15. how did u fix the emblem onto the grill? is there a backing? or u just glued it on? ← The emblem I ordered had 3 prongs, I also ordered 2 grip bolts - the emblem is also backed with glue, it is simply bolted from behind, with the glue backing is very secure........
  16. Update: I followed Chris's advise and ordered my bits, the "L" emblem is now back on the car and I think it looks so so much better, I am not going to even get it painted as I like it just the way it is, see what you think now: Grill On a side note the car went into the dealer yesterday for new alloys, front shock replacement and new front pads - Lexus Croydon have certainly impressed me recently.
  17. Chris, that was my feeling - as being the man in the know do you know where I can pick up the Sports Grill Badge? (Lexus Emblem) Cheers
  18. Well further to my recent thread about the L emblem, here is a picture of the TRD Aero grill installed: TRD Grill How do you think it looks, I am tempted to Spray Plat Ice but am unsure? Or maybe sell and buy a Sports grill complete? What do you think. Cheers
  19. Well, I got my Grill on Tuesday from Toms in Mong Kok, TRD Aero Grill in Carbon Fibre, must say it looks mighty fine can't wait until I eventually get home and try it. The price I paid I thought was really good - with the strong pound at the moment works out at 90 quid. Good price???
  20. Well I am now here in Hong Kong - Seymour Road, Mid Levels to be precise. Time for some shopping today - Sports Grill no.1 on list - Toms here I come!
  21. Whens the next meet then, over there from Friday for quite a while..........
