  1. Ok then lets open it up, what is the best for life & price etc.......
  2. Ok guys as above, here is the list - please only select your choice out of these - I need to get the most out the tyres mileage wise.......... Bridgestone Potenza RE040 Dunlop SP9000 Dunlop SP2000 Pirelli Pzero Nero Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD2 Cheers
  3. Looks like i'll get them done elsewhere - to be honest I don't mind paying just thought it would have been easier. On a side note - I bought the car from Bromley, but I changed over to Croydon a while back and they sort me out all the time very helpful indeed. I think Lexus GB should retract the bromley dealership!
  4. I'm off to Hong Kong next Friday again to visit my sister - I'll be paying a visit to Tom's TRD in Mong Kok - I am stocking up so i'll see just how much profit these guys make - might even bring a few more back. ;)
  5. Hi My IS is now roughly 18 months old, and a bit of work is due for example: new front pads, front shocks (under warrenty) and full alloy wheel replacement (under warrenty) - here comes my question. I need 2 new back tyres, I am going for the RE040's as on the car already (had the front done about 3 months ago) I asked Lexus Bromley that due to them changing over the wheels next week how much would they charge to fit the new tyres (now please bare in mind that it is not actually going to take them any longer as they have to remove old tyres anyway - I offered to pay for the change as well.) Their answer - Can't do it unless you buy the tyres from us!!! I think that sucks - what do you think??
  6. Right - my front pads have about 1k miles left on them so need to change soon, Lexus have quoted me £126 inc of Gold Discount - now then that seems a lot in my book considering other garages are charging £65-ish fitted! My questions are: 1. What brand are Lexus OEM front pads? 2. If I get another garage to fit, will it void my warrenty etc - was thinking of either mintex pads or EBC. Cheers guys (and gals sorry)
  7. RRRRrrrr I see! Cheers - best get one on Order then!
  8. Once all your doors, incl boot are closed. You just press the "lock" button once ........ and it locks the doors ........ then folds the mirrors in. ← Quick question though, and maybe I have this the wrong way round, but I always lock my doors when driving - London you know what its like, I was led to believe that the auto wing mirror closure works of that relay so when you dead lock they fold in - not great when your driving around.
  9. Now I know that dent devils etc will come to you etc and charge you about £60 a dent So is there anywhere in London (South preferably) where you can drop off you car and they'll do all thats needed (about 4-5) for a more reasonable amount of money. Sick of people dinging the rudy doors everytime I go out!!!!!!!
  10. You won't go wrong withthe K750I by far one of the best phones on the market at the moment, the camera is superb for a phone.
  11. Hey, I am genuinely pleased for you, but no test drive or anything and you have committed yourself already? Admit money is only money - but maybe your have more than sense as they say? You can go and buy a BMW 530D SE Saloon AUTO with loads of toys for the same price, The new IS Diesel doesn't even have the Auto option! I have driven a 5 series and it really is a class winner.
  12. Already started - My choice so far is a X-Type Diesel Automatic - Lexus GB - your making a BIG MISTAKE!
  13. Sorted, understood at last - cheers
  14. But what do they do / achieve can you not just use the original bulbs for both purposes - this topic is getting more confused........
  15. bulb, holder ??? Didn't know you needed to replace bulbs
  16. I can't understand why no Auto for the Diesel, surely going for the business market with a diesel - you want a Auto. It's putting me off trading in as I wanted the diesel .
  17. Right OK finally getting there, Colours of cables please if you will. Cheers
  18. So in BRAIN DEAD terms then, cable from Brake to Fog with the Diode in the midde (each side obviously) or do you cable from Brake to fog to fog to Brake etc.... Really confused!!!
  19. What size/type of Diode do you require then?? Does this method mean that you can actual use the Fogs as fogs when you want to etc, and for MOT tests?? My electrical expertise is ZERO!! so help appreciated. Thanks
  20. I have just had a call from Lexus Croydon as my car is in for its 20K service who have informed me that I have about 3k left on my front Pads!!! So it must be the norm if your experiencing the same - quoted me £170 for replacements. Also my air filter was blocked - is that normal???
  21. You name them i've tried them, need a direct flight as only going for a week, looks like i'm gonna have to do it - so begrudge it though.......my mum and dad are actually on their way back now both tickets Cathay Pacific £650 (for both)...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Was just being cheeky, trying to book a flight to Hong Kong to see my sis and can't beleive the price £750 - haven't paid no where near that for going on 7 years - usually about £450. Don't mind making it worth someones while if you know what i mean.
  23. Yup!! They don't half take the Micheal (British Airways) - Blooming Rip off!!
  24. Long shot, but does anybody work for BA?? fancy offering a discount...... LOC Style!
