  1. Have a great night......we all wish we were there :D :D :D
  2. The Halfords kit is fine and easy to use. The only drawback is the cost and the fact that they are only good for one trip. Don't forget the other stuff you will need. Spare bulb kit First aid kit 2 triangles Reflective vests (one for each occupant) Fire extinguisher Depending upon where you are going but the above should cover the whole of Europe. Have a great trip.
  3. The cheapest tyre supplier in Hampshire is reputed to be Micheldever Tyres. Cannot do a link (too thick) but here is the web address. http://www.micheldever.co.uk/ :duh:
  4. I have recently purchased a Nuvi 350 for the wife's car and it is brilliant. The detail maps in Spain are better than the DVD system in my LS (which is only 18 months old) and it's an MP3 player AND it connects to my bluetooth phone for hands free calls. :)
  5. Oh dear! Does that mean I have to get a bike as well? :P
  6. Moving house and having a mega clearout. Found an RX 300 MK1 brochure. If any of you MK1 owners would like said brochure please PM me and I will send in post next day. :D
  7. Wonder if I could keep one of those in the garage without the wife finding out?
  8. I had a test drive in a new Vogue diesel a couple of weeks ago and was very disapointed with the noise level of the engine. Everything else was brilliant. Good luck with your choice. :D
  9. I'm with you guys. I thought that it was me, or a stupid accent, or me just being stupid. The system in the LS is absolutely cack. So I just don't use it anymore (keeps the blood pressure down) as I got tired of shouting " that's not what I asked for you stupid *****&&^%$$ thing) :tsktsk: :tsktsk:
  10. I had a 220d for a day last week and found it very good. No turbo lag, gearbox was fine and the mpg on the computer was 33.5 average when I picked it up from the dealer. Dunno if you think that good or bad, but I drive an LS so looks good to me. :)
  11. I had a new diesel for the day yesterday (fully loaded) and apart from a rattle in the dash area it was brilliant. Comfy, fast and stylish. Loved the led warnings on the speedo and rev counter. :D
  12. In the so called 'good old days' our cars did'nt have enough power to need all the modern aids. Well, the ones I could afford anyway. :D
