Mat, I cannot see too clearly on my laptop screen, but the score marks seem to go very near the lip of the bore. IF this is the case then surely the plot thickens. On the other hand if the circlip was missing or badly fitted and the gudgeon pin moved, AND assuming the the distance to the bore is greater than the width of the bearing in the piston then the gudgeon pin would be supported on only one side of the piston. This would cause the piston to twist and due to the enormous friction between the piston and the bore would cause a failure at the weakest point.

Baz, I use Nokia phones and they always seem to work well. The only prob is transfering the phone book as this has to be done one entry at a time. Latest is a 8800 which my daughter tells me is far too flash for an old man but she could give it a very good home. :P -

Tim Fit and finish on the LS is legendary, so if panels don't fit be careful. Looked after by a Lexus garage the mechanicals should be bulit proof, so look for full Lexus history. Lots of well looked after cars about so if you are in any doubt...keep looking. Only downside is if you buy a dog it will cost a mint, so don't rush in. When you get a goodun you will love it for years. Good luck with your search.

I am no expert but it looks OK to me. Has the DV in/out which is important, has a reasonable optical zoom and of course the price is good.
