Ben, I'd be interested in your whole experience and whom you are buying from as I have been considering this process in the future to import an RC350 from Japan.

I was in the individual display last year, not a bad show, I did find the hype out sold what was actually there though. Thankfully I met up with some people I know so it was not all bad and did see two other Lexus and my first sighting of a Toyota Century. There's a post in the show and events thread with some photos. I'll not be there this year as unfortunately I'm working that weekend.

As Linas states no turbo on a RC300h, 2.5L normally aspirated.

I have a Maxton boot lip spoiler which I ordered direct from Maxton good service direct, I have heard that not all the ones on ebay come from Maxton so watch out for that if going that route. I got the gloss black version then got a local tint and wrap company to wrap it in Gloss Black carbon PPF to match my roof. If you have money to burn you could go the Lexus/TRD route although not offered here so they are an import from Japan. Not sure this is Lexus Link but on my 2018 pre-facelift RC300h F-Sport if I go on Google Maps on my phone it pin points the location of my car within yards!

On the standard RC nav; While in map mode press the nav knob on the central console until you bring up the rotational pictogram/icon display on the screen with 'Destination' displayed in the centre of the screen the first pictogram/icon to the right in Cancel Destination.

@B1RMA let me know if I need to pay, I did however return my sticker to the pay 'shack'. The other RC300h that was on the very end belonged to a trader as he approached while I had my bonnet up showing one of our other members (sorry forgot your name) the hybrid system, well that part of it that can be seen anyway I must admit that this forum does puzzle me some what as there is an event/show page but it gets very little use or even views and most events are just posted in the pages for specific models.

Yes thank you @B1RMA for organising the get together and all the rest. So nice to see the F's out in the sun. Major tailback on the M40 due to an accident but managed to get into work with 30mins to spare.

Yes agree and also confused as what the gearbox has to do with the sound.

Good as in better than the standard exhaust, yes it's not a straight 5, V8, 10 or 12 but look or listen to some of those hot hatches that can have in some cases decent sound. As for not revving a 300h yes it can't be revved while in park or neutral but pulling away in normal, Sport or Sport+ I regularly hit 5500rpm and with the window open there is a slight bit of good exhaust noise but only just, it just needs an exhaust that can amplify that sound.

Interested to hear the sound of that exhaust and also the cost and is it a cat back/axle back or full system?

It's roughly a 1hr 40-50min drive so I'll be heading off around 9, round the M25 and up the M40. Area/park 6 was where I parked a couple of years ago when I visited in my old Volvo and at the time was just a normal parking area.

I agree with you regarding the look of the front, when I brought mine there was a orange face lift RC300h sitting next to mine and I just didn't like the look, apart from the orange which I didn't like either.

Well my 300h had it's recall done last week together with service and MOT, all done in 3 hours and Lexus Hatfield even put £25 worth of petrol in the tank.

Years ago when driving an old series Land Rover you always got a wave from another, probably more just to acknowledge you are still running more than anything and not broken down. Only seen two RC's on the road near me, one a double of mine driven by an uninterested women and other in blue that flew past me while I was doing 70 so didn't even get time to see if it was a 200, 300 or F.

Well mine's not a full bloodied F but I'm only in Cuffley between junctions 24 and 25 M25, just returned from a trip to Manchester, great drive especially the A57 over the Peak District.
