    As Linas says - it could have Dynamic Radar Cruise Control which would make it quite special. Printed on the cruise control stalk there would be a small image of a car next to the speedo image (page 142 in the manual) whereas cars without this fitted only have an image of the speedo printed on the stalk (page 139 in the manual).

    Lovely Malc, mine (PAJ 950M) ended up with fake sheepskin seat and steering wheel covers - a right tart. Nice to be bragging about Imps 😄

    Hi Winston, HaHa, admittedly not really manly at all but I liked my Imp - it bombed about really well. It had reversing lights fitted with a manual switch on the dash that I didnt always remember to turn off 😊

    My choice of second car, never let me down in five years of ownership and will go mostly anywhere with the right tyres. They seem to go on forever and a well cared for example like yours probably will.

    Mine doesn't have it although the instructions for it (if equipped) are in my 06 manual.

    I use diluted through to end of summer then start topping up with neat winter screenwash which can protect from freezing down to -5 or further depending which you choose. Using neat does smell a bit in the cabin when you spray your windscreen but I dont find it unpleasant.

    Thanks David, I've not had a problem with screenwash and I've used it for years but always open to alternatives and views.

    I use neat screenwash (extreme winter stuff) on a rag and coat all of the door seal surfaces - stops them freezing together. Also I carry a tube of rubber cement (innertube glue) - if you happen to split a rubber wiper blade this is excellent for emergency repair, if your out and about without a spare blade to hand.

    Oh, righto I took it that you were replacing the whole mirror unit which has two connector plugs that connect into the loom behind the door card. Best wishes

    I believe the SE-L auto dimming mirrors have wiring with two connector plugs where others have one. I'm sure someone will correct me if wrong - if you take your door card off you could check. Neil.

    Along with CD's and the Radio and I have my favourite play list on a SanDisk Clip Jam mp3 plugged into Aux under the centre armrest...its a neat little thing.

    Lovely memories Malc😊 The imp was fun in its own way...74 M reg and a petrol blue colour...it was in a sad state in someones back garden full of pigeon baskets and not far off being a pigeon coop itself, knocked on the door and bought it for £300 in 1980. Turned out nice after doing it up and served me well for two years...used to call it Buzz Bomb 🤣

    AXA insurance has gone up a bit £189 last year £271 this - had a search around and could only find one £10 cheaper so were sticking with them.

    Hi Roll the window all the way down. Roll the window all the way up keeping the switch up until you hear a click (could be as long as 12 seconds for it to click). Roll all the way down and keep the switch down,wait for the click. Roll all the way up and again wait for the click - should be reset.
