Apple will repair it but they wont be able to keep the existing data stored on it. So what I ever I do my songs on it are lost anyway Anybody know what the touch ones are like? Anygood?

Thanks for the replies :) The problem I have is that I have to get this one working again so I can get the music off it as I've not got it stored anywhere else.

Another old thread.... My ipod has now turned off and wont turn back on. The battery wasn't charging either.. along with the formatting problem etc etc. Is there anywhere I can take / send it to get it fixed? Costs? Or do I have to send it to apple (wherever that is?) ? I assume its out of warrenty as I bought it along time ago

Thought I'd open up this old thread :) I'm now looking to change from Plus.net. The speed of the internet just seems to get worse. If I download some music or a film then the internet browsing is almost non existent. Even if I don't go over the alloted download limit its still very slow. So I'm looking at changing again to something faster / better. Also if possible no download limit. Any recomendations? TIA :D

Yeah you are right but I just dont know whether it's something I want to fork out on right now. How is you car running with the low comp. pistons, what's the drivability like? I have spoken to a few people and had mixed opinions. I've only just done the running in miles on it. Its having oil / filter change next week. Then I can get the map sorted and MOT too. So It should be all finished in the next few weeks. Then I'll let you know. :) Who is doing the mapping mate ?? tbc

Also mate if you do plan on running higher boost then you'll need to get uprated internals etc fitted. Or you will break another con rod, then you'll be back in the same boat you are now.

I also had the fuel gauge problem after having the V-Pro installed. I'd be driving for ages with hardly any movement, then all of a sudden it would drop down to about 1/4. Tdi did sort the problem though. I think it was something to do with 2 wires crossed or one in a different place or something. Somebody else just after me had the same problem as ours were the 1st to be fitted with the V-Pro. Fuel gauge works fine now though.
