  1. good one that mate, as its not my problem if i look at it that way will be paying tax out of his money :D i have told him i will sell to get money back, but he says i carnt but i will if i can. thanks ← If the house is in you're name and you have all the deeds etc, you're the one in the driving seat. Have you explained how interest he would normally pay over 10 years with an outstanding debt of £20k??? Sounds like that if you give in and sign the house over to him, you will see nothing and probably not see him again either. Stand you're ground dude.
  2. Welcome to LOC, hope you had a nice xmas. Glad you like the car, there great!! All the best, Kaz.
  3. All the best to every Lexus owner (.....and Duncan!) Have a wicked xmas and a fantastic new year!! :D
  4. The IS is a harder ride, my uncle has got a GS430 SE and its super smooth!!! Have a great xmas
  5. 1)Wow factor 2)Prestige 3)Sound of the straight six under the bonnet!
  6. Easy chef, Toyota maybe, but they are now the second biggest car manufacturer. Will agree on petrol, they suck!! Dones it matter who the parent company is??? Fiat own ferrari VW own Audi and Lamborgini GM own Mercedes Ford own Jag and Austin Martin its no big deal. Take on board your points made.
  7. Ha ha good point made. I like it. Saxo's do seem to attract w :tsktsk: kers
  8. On a positve note, a woman recognised a Lexus. Thats impressive, most birds i've spoken to are like ....a what?? Interesting story.
  9. Japanese engineering = Reliability and fantastic build quility. Full service history is pretty important, other than that, high miles is no worry. Kaz
  10. You will always find somebody who hasn't had good service from a provider. Personally I had NTL for 4 weeks until I demanded they release me from their contract after providing me with a broadband service that for the majority of the time was slower than dial-up and that their engineers and support staff couldn't resolve. ← Very true.
  11. I was looking at A BMW aswell, and as youy all point out, poor value for money, a BMW is very common and Lexus depreciation is not as bad. Its funny you say once you've had one, you will never want anything else...... Very true! :P
  12. I use NTL at home and is great. No problems very good price and very reliable. On the other hand I use BT at work and I feel the serive is best described as shabby!! Connection speed is not very consistant and often displays " This page is currently unavailable" very frustrating!! NTL all the way!! :winky:
  13. Although it's just enough to look at them, but what made you decide Lexus over any other cars you was interested in? Why Lexus and not BMW or Merc etc..... Im just curious!!!
  14. I've just got one to, K2 DUL. K for my first name and Dul is my surname. Bargain price at DVLA to........
  15. If you don't plan to buy from a dealer or other garage, make sure its got full service history. An independant check is always a good option to consider to. At that price though, its sounds like a bargain!!
  16. Seriously, do you drive you're car aswell?
  17. Im 21 with a IS 200 SE on a 51 palte. Occupation wise, Im a sales manager for an Orange franchise. Quick question for yourself, How much did it cost to get the car LPG converted? Any difference in perfomrance etc...... Many thanks, Kaz.
  18. Thats not a huge amount of miles, but it has had 4 owners so you can put money on the fact that its probably been thrashed towards the end of each owners time with the car. Full service history is a must for that many owners.
