  1. That is NIIIICE. You just need to change the colouring on the stereo and all the other buttons. :D I used to have a Veedub, and this is the biggest thing I miss about it.
  2. Aren't there any other colours ? :P
  3. Congratulations Mr H (and Mrs H off course). You'll have to get him reading the Lexus manuals for his first books..
  4. I really don't know the answer to this one. I did think that myself when I had a look at the new IS the other day.
  5. The Lexus dealership in Bristol wanted £700ish for the 60k service. Personally I'm gonna take it to Nationwide Autocentres. They do everything (apart from change the battery in your remote) that it says on the Lexus list for £179. I'll just make a point of asking for particular spark plugs and oil. If you have the money though, take it to Lexus to keep the service history full Lexus. :winky: Are you a Gold member as this could save you some money as well.
  6. It's amazing how much more daring a driver you become when you know that the brick wall you are approaching won't hurt you or your car.
  7. I thought the same with mine when I got it. I just think it's like the other's put - you just get used to the feel.
  8. What about an x-ray machine to scan your face for dental proof ? They're always able to find out things on these detective programmes by dental records :D
  9. Was that an offer....... ? ← Sorry mate, I don't think my finger will stretch as far as the Midlands :P
  10. You'll have to have a retinal scanner for backup.. ← Never thought of that...... Honestly.... ← Who do you know who would volunteer to have their finger cut so you can test it ? :D
  11. You'll have to have a retinal scanner for backup..
  12. I think I'd get it done at 90,000 for peace of minds sake.
  13. I sat in one of those the weekend at the Lexus showroom. Must admit it, I didn't like the new IS's when they were first revealed, BUT they certainly have grown on me. Nice buy you lucky &%*£(" :D Enjoy yer ride
  14. Totally true - I had a look at Beemers the weekend (and Mercs) to try and decide what car I would go for next. And the answer was neither I just didn't feel as thought they had spent the same amount of time in detailing the interior as they maybe did on the exterior. The seats in the Merc looked like something out of Toy Town. I've ended up considering an Audi TT next. But that won't be until the end of this year. Until then I will still be loving my Lex. :D
  15. How can they say that the "old" IS200 was a shameless copy of the 3 series BMW ? They are nothing like each other. And as for the "spot the Toyota bits" - I had a look at an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage the weekend (not to buy as I am REAL poor when it comes to Aston Martins), and I was playing spot the Ford buttons. I seriously believed after seeing the Aston Martin that my IS200 had a better interior. Even the dials were all black (boring), and the steering wheel was totally black with just the Aston Martin wings embossed in the centre. I was completely disappointed, as it did use to be my favourite. It sounds to me like the person who done the review in that Irish paper hasn't really experienced the "old" IS200.
  16. Sorry to go slightly , but entry-level "BS" series? Isn't that a bit of a silly acronym to use? Lets just hope it isn't what it says on the tin! ← Well, lets start a link on Stupid Japanese names? Nissan Bongo, anyone? (and that's mild!) (Sharan van though, set a trend?) ← What about Toyota Mota ?
  17. OMG !!!! Bazza, are you still on the Christmas wines and spirits ?? :D
  18. That sounds more like it. Rock me Amadeus rings a bell now you mentioned it.
  19. That Amadao you're referring to is Amadeus. I know the song you're on about, but can't remember if Amadeus is the exact name of the title. It wasn't part of the "Prince Charming" song was it ? I'll keep repeating it in my head and let you know if I get any other ideas.
  20. I bought King Kong before Christmas to play over boring times such as the Queen's speech. However, I test drove it and ended up completing it before Christmas. So I took it back to GAME with the receipt and told them that I had this game bought for me by my Sister for Christmas as a duplicate and would therefore like to do a straight swap. So I swapped this one for Call of Duty 2. :D Another great money saving idea from McDonald's
  21. Sounds like the programmer was on SPEEEEED !! :D
  22. Haven't got a clue, but that would make sense
