would say over 300 bhp if not more with a SC and mayb up to 500 with TC janspeed claimed to have a 600hp 3S-GE lump running close to 2 bar of boost dunno how long the block would last tho

210 bhp as standard if he's claiming it to be more ask to see so dyno figures and what mods have been done

Welcome to the club mate I would say both civic and altezza as standard a pretty evenly matched both have very similar 0-60 times (I think around 7.2sec) tezza's top speed, Fast :winky: and the best bit rear wheel drive, letting the front wheels do the steering and the back do the driving Buy it, and get tuning

you can achieve 260bhp (at the fly) with a SC or TC, running low boost on standard internals no probs think Mr Singh is aiming for the 300 mark on standard internals with a SC you can get uprated internals and even bore it out to 2.2, Mark at TDI can help you out with this so give him a call but think this mod can be quite costly

yeah I've got a 6 speeder, plus TRD flywheel fittted so think this mod will be put on the things to do list

thanks for the reply so to sum it up, you've gained low and mid end acceleration and lost a bit of top end speed in all gears, would that be right in saying plus fuel consumption has gone up what does the kit consist of ??? final drive pinion and gear

yep the amp has to go you will then use the wires that were connected to the amp to connect to the head unit

I've got mintex all round on standard disc got the lot off ebay for under £50 to my door and fitted them myself had no probs yet with them

Oh really??? Thought I read somewhere before that the RS is lower :duh: One of the sites said fitting their lowering springs to IS200/RS200 "sports suspension" won't lower the car Could be the same as the IS Sport at -25mm compared to the SE yep thats right

Welcome to the club mate I'll try to answer a few Q's for ya What I would like to know is...what are the running costs/mpg like. I use mine just for the weekends and the odd evening, I like to go fast (which is why I've got it) and would say mine is about 25 mpgs but normally only doing short runs, much better on long drives though Are there any known problems with the cars, getting parts etc? most of the car is the same as the IS so most parts not a prob. tuning parts you can get a fair bit in the uk for performance mods or just import, doesn't look like a prob for you What benefits over the IS200 (which is cheaper). more power :D , a uk IS is more refined than an imported RS What sort of price would I expect to pay for a 1999 with low mileage Z edition with the nice kit on there? Dunno, I've got the legana kit on my which is a front bumper, TRD skirts (side and rear) this was fitted as standard to some models, earlier ones I believe What is the tuning potential for these cars?
