I have a kicker substation(bandpass unit),2 blaupunkt 6*9, pioneer sub-amplifier, blaupunkt head uit and blaukpunkt dvd player. I took this out of the previous car that I owned. I dont have a clue as to what to do now. I was thinking of purchasing a facia plate and installing my stuff, but my dash looks so great, its a shame to spoil it. The OEM music does not even compare to what I had before,but it looks so great. I just cannot decide what to do? there is a thread somewhere about soldering RCA jacks unto the circuit board of the lexus player, I might even do that. just dont know...........(and yes, I now realized this thread is about 3 years old.) ;) trinilex

I have tried TC off on dry roads and the acceleration is better. I turn it off when I remember. On wet roads I keep it on(too afraid) trinilex

If I am getting 18MPG from my IS200 I would prefer to walk................. :P trinilex.........

Which means if i am doing 500km, on 60l, (assuming there is approx 10L gas remaining after light goes on). That's uhhh?.........(%$$$**) only 24 mpg. That's terrible. I drive at granny speed not to increase my gas consumption. I love this car but.......it burns too much :tsktsk: petrol!!!!!!

So what's the latest on the car?....................it has been some time now. trinilex.

I am having the same problem with condensation of the LHS headlight. I am going to have a go at trying to fix them. I'LL Let you know how that goes........ trinilex

Guys, help me out........ Is the trip meter in miles or km? I am a bit confused now, because I get 500(something) then my gas light comes on. Is this 500 miles or km? trinilex

Someone mentioned earlier.............about low milage, I got my IS200 doing 28k and its a 2000 model. Imported from Singapore. Makes me wonder how they drive across there. I am also fortunate to have the 16 inch wheels.>>>>

OK.........I found the IS 200 original manual............now all I have to do is find a way to pay and ship it internationaly. I will keep you updated I found out I cannot post any pics 'cause I am not a GOLD Member. I guess I can't be?. I am about 96 million miles away from the UK. ..........sob!

I will post a pic on this weekend. As soon as I learn how to.......I have already painted the brake calipers and stripped the grille. let me do a search on Ebay for the manual...........thanks......... :mat:

Thanks...............apparantly there is moisture building up overnight........I will clean all the connectors. Wonderful.........for a first timer I am impressed at the speed of responce, maybe some one can help me out with a manual(cd/book). Where to buy?

Hi all, Just collected my IS 200 about 2weeks ago, Imported it from Singapore. Lovely piece of machinary. My car manual was stolen at the paint shop......yep....just disappeared. Any ways, now there is an indicator that comes on , its orange and in the form of a car with beams projecting from the back. WHAT IS THIS? When is switch off the car and restart the engine it goes. (last evening I was checking out the wiring in order to do the brake/fog light mod. I disconnected the left rear light to see the connectors and jacked it in ). Could this be it or is there some other problem. hey, I have to ask for your help until someone directs me to a manual. I am looking all over the net but cant find any. thanks..............waiting for a responce................

Hi all, I am new here, just got my IS200 a week and a half ago, imported it from singapore. I noticed today while reversing my trunk lights didnt come on. { i was reversing towards a glass window) I thought something was blown. You guys saved my life. I read the chat and jumped to the link (thanks fluff, mod well written :hocus-pokus: ) and I am going to do the mod myself this weekend. THANKS ...............(NEW IS OWNER)
