From what I have read, you can hook up a 6 by 9 but the tweeter on the lex is powered by seperate wires(from a crossover which operates at a higer frequency). This means one set of wires for the back speaker and another for the back tweeter(which is located above the speaker). If you have to replace the back speaker with a 6 by 9 you would have to separate the wiring. There is a thread located somewhere about this subject. Do a search. Trinilex.....

There is a thread somewhere about alarm malfuction. Do a search. Try resetting your ecu. It might be the motion detector in the the cabin area also. As I said read the thread that deals with alarms, it will help. trinilex.................

It might be a bit too late for you, but I use a plastic polish that removes fine scratches and prevents UV deterioration. Only time will tell if its any good. Maybe you should start using it on the good light. Just a suggestion. trinilex.................

I have 16'' rims on my car and its VERRRY comfortable. My experience with lower profile tyres (which your 17'' should have), is that you feel the road more. So 16'' with a higher sidewall profile should make the ride smoother than the 17''. trinilex............

Had the scare of my life, I took a sharp corner at about 100+k and forgot I switched off my TRC. Whewwww.........I thought I was drifting for a while( tyres screeching), but the natural driving instinct took over and I took control of my car(what a rush) MORAL of the story is TRC on while cornering at high speeds. trinilex

My IS 200, 2000 model has sensors for the seatbelts on both passenger and driver seat. There is a light on the dash that flashes, for both passenger and driver if the seatbelts are not used when the car is running and someone is sitting in the seat............... trinilex.............

I have a 2000 model IS, when i double press on the lock button I get five flashes, which should indicate that the microwave sensor is deactivated. How do I reactivate my motion sensor? Do I have to double press on the lock again?. I rolled my windows down and put my hand through the windows after double pressing the lock button and nothing happens. I never got a manual so maybe someone can help me. OK, the question is, how do I reactivate the motion sensor trinilex.

HEY!, thanks for that mpg calculator link. Now i can put away my scientific calculator. Just to give you an update. I put two bottles of octane booster in my full tank and got 53 km more. So I guess it's the quality of the fuel I am getting. I have to check the RON and MON numbers. I have a chemical engineer friend who knows of an additive that i can mix with the fuel to raise the octane level. The word is much to big for me to spell and forget about even trying to pronounce it, but you can buy it in bulk and add it to the fuel in measured amounts and raise the octane level, he also told me it was good for the valves and engine generally. I am going to give it a try. trinilex
