Powder Coated - 17" x 7.5J Alloy Wheels
ableleggale posted a topic in Buy & Sell Parts & Accessories
OEM never fitted, never used but have been de-painted and powder coated. They were my 'winter spares' for my IS 250 Supersport - which sadly I had to let go as she was not practical for ferrying disabled/elderly family to and from hospital. I kept them in case I ever purchased another IS250. My mother-in-law (84) and auntie-in-law (89) are still hanging in there. It's a shame to see them sat there doing nothing. When you look at the price of OEM then these are a bargain, especially if you look after them as they will not go the same way as paint & lacquered finish they are 100% powder coated and baked by a professional provider. I am an old school City & Guilds qualified tech and I don't mess about when it comes to getting a quality job done! Buyer is to collect or arrange courier. The price is non-negotiable given I paid for them brand new! The money will go to buy electrical tools which will be used on community projects such as making new solid wooden gates for the vulnerable or custom items due to disabilities which I found there to be a need of as an Emergency Medical Responder during the pandemic. I hope they can go to a good home. So what's the asking price? Price - £500.00 (all four wheels @£125 ea.) Payment Method - I can take a credit card but there will be a additional 2% processing fee. Cash on collection is preferred. Additional Fees (non-collection) price will increase in terms of packing and in addition any courier fees. Private Delivery - within 100 miles radius at 0.59p per mile from DN36 or WF13 Postcode (depending on which week due to work etc) Terms: Payment must be made and cleared prior to release of the wheels. No payment, no wheels - simples. Enquiries via my private messaging. I will responding within 48 hours (due to work commitments) if not within 24 hours. -

Thanks to the members on here suggesting that we are not crazy to keep going with our 2004 IS300 SC. We would like to show it some love so we stop getting our heads turned by shiny new cars... So how easy is it to replace this strip? I have tried YouTube but I am not even sure what this part is called. Thanks.

Wondering if you guys have any ideas on which roofrack brands to go with when buying one for an IS. Spoke to one guy who had a ''Lexus original'', will look into that aswell but just wanna check here too. Thanks.

Hi there, I have found a used IS300 (2019 model) with 20.000 km. It is like new, but when I checked the service book, I saw that it had never been maintained, at least not in the official dealer, although Lexus recommends a first service at 7.500 km and a second at 15.000 km Of course the car is still under official guarantee for two more years and it is sold by an official dealer, but I am afraid that the problems might come up after that period. Also, when I ran a diagnostic test with BlueDriver, I saw that the trouble codes were reset when the meter stand was at 17.000 km. The rest of the diagnostic tests did not show any problems and during the test drive I did not notice anything strange. Should I think about it or look for something else? Thanks everyone!

Hello, I am seeking help to resolve my ABS light being on. Yesterday I installed an active subwoofer in my 2004 IS200, I ran cables from the battery to the trunk and also 3 signal cables from my aftermarket radio, the woofer works fine but since then, ABS doesn't work, the light is on, also the TRC light is flashing and the brake warning light is always on. I tried disconnecting the subwoofer and battery, then reconnecting the battery without the woofer to see if it helps, but nothing. Then I found a post about shorting two diagnostic pins to show error codes with the ABS light, and it blinked twice, three times, twice, six times, twice and seven times. But I don't really know what these codes mean. It doesn't make sense to me why this happened, since the woofer has got nothing to do with anything, expect the radio and the battery. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful. Thanks.

With 11 inches of snow lying outside my house in sunny Hampshire, it was interesting to come across this article about a load of IS300s ice racing in Ontario (he official website is here). Looks like terrific fun! 😁 Five winters I had my IS300, switching to its winter tyres religiously every October, and it never once saw snow of any consequence. Typical.

Extreme suspension movement! The picture doesn't convey just how cold it was this March day at Coombe Gibbet, Berkshire. -

Hi all. New to this forum...apologies if this post is in the wrong bit... just trying to find some advice from people who might already know this - I have an IS300, from 2002. It seems to ride a bit high, especially at the back. Do you know how to go about lowering it slightly? Not sure of the best way to go about this (1" at front, 2" at rear maybe...). Hope you can help...

Hi all, just picked up a standard is300 sportcross, 2002 how did miss these cars for so many years?? What a fun car with all the mod cons too. It's going for a new MOT this week, I know I have to get some disks and pads(already got front yellow stuff pads dam cheap off splock!!) Or good quality ones.. on a budget tho, so for a good price!!! Also anyone got any parts left in their shed etc.. let me know.. lowering Springs or kits and exhausts parts and air intake etc. For an old 2002 is300sportcross!!
