Hi All, Sorry for the silly "NEWBIE" question, but I am struggling to get a definitive colour code for my Leather interior (Seats). My ID plate image is attached for ease. I am sure you seasoned Lexus owners will come up quickly with an sensible answer to help. I have done endless internet searching with no conclusive results that I am happy with. I wish to get an accurate colour dye to treat the leather as drivers seat is showing through a black colour (creases) and wish to treat it to make good again. Thanks in advance

Hi All, I have red leather seats in my IS300h which are starting to look a little dull and dry - they looked fantastic when I bought the car 3 years ago. I usually clean/condition them with wipes but I think they need a slightly more intense treatment now. Can anyone recommend a leather cleaner and conditioner I can use on them safely to treat them this summer that they have experience of? Also, can you get touch up pens for the nicks you get on the seats to get them back to the original colour and make them less obvious? Thanks Ken

Well my 'new to me' 2015 RX450h had a GardX label affixed to the windscreen. I wondered what treatment had been applied so rang them. The new Data Protection rubbish prevented them from telling me as the guarantee paperwork is in someone else's name . Then ensued a conversation where I pointed out that because of this I was prevented from buying any maintenance product from them. After the call I had a 'lightbulb' moment. Yesterday I put my car on the 'My Lexus' phone app. Yesterday there was no service history. Today there is- well it shows that GardX was applied to the exterior and the leather when the car was new. Now the exterior I don't give a hoot about as it will be getting a coat of 'Chemical Guys' Blacklight 'polish. The leather is another matter. Do I get the GardX Leather cream to protect it (bearing in mind it was treated with it 3 years ago) or do I use Autoglym leather cream? The cream leather looks great at the moment and When I cleaned a corner with chemical guys leather cleaner no dirt came off.

Hi Is it normal for the drivers seat side wing to wear on the leather? It’s done 57k miles and I assume it’s standard wear but wondered if anybody else has anything to add to this? Shame as it’s gorgeous leather.

Does anyone know what is involved in swapping out my seats for higher spec ones. I have a 250SR - I love everything about the car except the seats. They are really quite bad. I have sourced used leather seats but really want alcantara which I have only ever seen is an is220d. Will the wiring be in place in my car or will it be a big job to swap to the heated and cooled leathers ? Thanks
