I had a Legend that I did 110,000 miles and traded it in for my first LS 400. The Legend made good money…! My wife has had seven Honda’s. A Civic, two Aerodecks, two Accord 2.2I’s and 2 Preludes. The Accords and the Preludes all had 4ws that helped parking etc… All the Honda’s were great cars… It was a shame that the last Prelude model that Honda made didn’t have the 4ws and the VTEC engine. Same here I have Premium Edition on order but struggling to find exact spec details. Have you been given a UK arrival date. My info is that it’s expected to arrive towards end of May which suggests a delivery date about 2nd week of June.

Do the wing mirrors fold in Jamie? The wing mirrors do an awful lot more than I was aware of. If you have your rear view mirror set to auto mode, the wing mirrors also darken to avoid headlamp glare from behind. If you have the rear window defog enabled they heat up to clear moisture. This also happens when you have your wipers running at temperatures less than 25*C / 77*F

Yes, I have been checking on you too, to check if any more comments on your new RX vs NX. Meanwhile I have tested an RX and while very quiet and comfortable and a bit more difficult to get out of the car once inside my garage, I found a small niggle for me....that may sound unimportant but makes a difference for me. When on motorways or straight roads I like to rest my elbows while still holding the bottom of the steering wheel, but I can't do that with my right elbow on the RX because is wider! How weird am I? 🤣

Probably, but I'm pretty happy at the moment with with the RCF alloys fitted 😉 Besides I've still got to sort out my coilovers 😐

After ruling out the harness I’ve gotten hold of another hybrid ECU. I’m aware these are coded to the car so wasn’t expecting a miracle with a swap over, but just enough to see if the code (P3108) still remained or not. The only code that came up was for the immobiliser (as the ecu isn’t coded to the car - B2799) thus giving me a good degree of confidence that my ECU is somewhat unhappy. I also noticed when I connect the replacement ECU , TechStream picks up the VIN, however on my original it doesn’t. I’ve tried to rewrite my VIN to the original ECU but I get an error saying function has failed, so another marker to confirm ECU has had a bit of a wobble.

Spare parts for Honda motorbikes were always very expensive. I presume cars were the same. Normally you don't require many spare parts which is good.

If you look in the owners manual on how to manually close the metal roof - from memory - you need to get to "stage 4" of this operation (with the roof open) to gain access to the part that you want to replace.

Stop the roof half way through the opening process to get access and it may be possible to get to the fixings. Michelle.. Could be quite a few Things that could cause this Yellow triangle which is only an advisory Warning.. Does this warning show up every time you start your vehicle Or is it intermitant...Have you checked your Fuel flap is Properly Closed ? Could be a Hot Spot in the Hybrid Battery ..Make sure the Vents at the side of the back seat are not Covered...Thus not Cooling the Battery Components .. if it Persists have the Dealership Run a Diagnostic Test through the OBD connector in your car to see what flags up...Hope that helps...

My 2006 Honda Legend sadly still reposes at the garage (150k miles ) awaiting the discovery of a replacement radiator at sensible ££££££ Honda price to source from the Belgium EU Parts Centre @£995 ……. OUCH 😫 Hopes now possibly found one and we can shortly move forward …… it’s a brilliant car which I’ve had 8 years and 45k miles …… the car that Honda just couldn’t sell here in the UK ….. tiny value coz no one wants them …… they only sold about 286 over some 6 years in the UK …… she’ll be back on the road soon I’m sure ….. she indoors just doesn’t really want to drive my Lexii 🤔 Malc
