New Tyres Time Rx450h

Recommended Posts

Looks like I picked up a slow puncture on FL tyre, as have been contemplating an All Season tyre for a while now, thought it a good time to swap all round.

After lots of checking of sites ended up going for Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season - so far very impressed, much smoother than the previous Bridgestones. Will keep this thread updated as they combat the various seasons :)

Im also on all seasons (rated in the states anyway but not here oddly enough). Mine are Michelins :)

What are they?

Latitude Tour HP. Absolutely faultless so far, nice soft ride, grips well too and eerily quiet. Nothing comes close to them in terms of low noise levels.

Only bad thing I guess would be that it has loads and loads of sipes which stones of various sizes get stuck into if you've been on a gravel road or driveway.

I have the same. And a gravel drive. And the stones get stuck too.

But that have been great tyres so far.

The sipes will help in the winter no doubt.

Had scorpion verde's on my last RX - they were very good, low noise and plenty of grip. I will be getting these once I need some new ones

Just got a 13 plate RX, with the original Dunlops on - 10k miles, first time in the wet on Friday and the traction control was going mental! (i was pushing it a bit though :D )

Got some miles on these tyres now and would highly recommend, nice and quiet, great fuel consumption and wet grip seems very good. Can't comment about snow performance yet ;)
