Evening all......

I have tried various things on my car to get the best finish, and wondered where you guys all get your bits from....I know some prefer the AutoGlyms, and the P21's, and the iauto bits.....but where is the best place to get your cleaning kits from!!!

Also, Alloy cleaning brush??? What the best?????

Any comments (Of a helpful nature of course!!! ) would be appreciated

I'm using Zymol stuff on my car at the moment and really rate it. It's easy enough to get hold of from Halfords.

Regarding the alloys, if I've not touched them in a couple of weeks (a rarity, usually I wash the car every weekend) then I use Autoglym's alloy wheel cleaner and a nylon brush to get the worst off. Usually though, it's just sponged down with soap and water and they come up a treat.

Have you seen the auto detailing pages on the forums? Loads of advice on there...

Hiya Claire

Thanks for the input...yep have had a look at the detailing section, and its pretty good (Still reading actually!)

Have not tried the Zymol....should give it a blast really...maybe a trip to Halfords. I always used to swear by Autoglym, but there are just so many different products now, its unreal.
