Ditching air suspension for coilovers

Recommended Posts

I am keen to hear from anyone that has changed the air suspension set up on a RX300 to a conventional strut and spring set up.

I have one leaking airbag and a failed compressor,it seems likely that the other 3 airbags are in poor condition so not keen to start throwing money at the air system.

I have seen a couple of coilovers systems ,not expensive,so am considering making the change.

Any info on this would be appreciated, also keen to hear from anyone with experience of using the system long term.

thanks in advance

Peter

Hi Peter, a member changed to coils on his RX about two months ago, if you do a search I'm sure you'll find it.  He's in Brighton and I called in to see the progress and it was very impressive. He said it was easy. Brighton RX is his forum name.
