I have found a fix for the troublesome power steering idle up valve which when faulty causes the fluid to be sucked into the intake, burnt in the engine and produces white smoke from the exhaust.

I have ordered the parts to repair the valve as mine has begun to show the failure symptoms and if successful I will update the post.

Looking forward to this, sometimes I think I have white smoke but not noticed any power steering fluid loss yet.

I find mine does it at start up when it been stood a day or so, large cloud of white smoke then fine a few seconds after. I think the fluid collects in the vacuum pipes then gets sucked into the engine and burnt.

Parts have been ordered so should be with me before the weekend so I will then do mine first.
