Thank you for allowing me to join the club looking forward to chatting with you all about Lexus.

 

Picking up our brand new NX 300h F sport Takumi pack next week and this is our first brand new car so pretty excited.

 

owned a lovely is250 sprt before loved it so wanted to stay loyal to lexus and there was some great bank holiday deals that we decided to take advantage on.

 

Look forward to chatting with you all. Had a question to the forum about insurance ?

 

Are the extras they try and get you to pay extra on worth from main dealers .

 

GAP. ( have included)

Tyres and Allows. ( but these are an additional cost of around 350 )

Paint and scratches?  ( ( but these are an additional cost of around 350 )

 

As this is our first car I was thinking with allows costing a fortune and tyres having 10 per policey is that pretty good or are there better deals out there ??

Enjoy the silence in your new Lexus. With the Takumi you surely have the Mark Leveinson audio and nothing is better from factory in any brand I have been in so far (very many).

Someone took out the tyre insurance and had to claim on it within about two weeks, due to getting a nail so close to the side wall that it was irreparable, so he almost got him moneysworth straight away.

GAP insurance was quoted as £399 for 3 years cover at the dealers but I got the same cover for £175 from https://www.motoreasy.com/ and similar for paint protection.
