What drive modes do you find yourself using?

I've had the car for 5 months now, long enough to settle into regular driving habits with the LC500.  I find I'm using Comfort mode when my mind is focused on something else (e.g. going TO the dentist 😔) and SPORT S+ when enjoying myself (e.g. coming back FROM the dentist 😁).

I programmed CUSTOM for soft suspension and 'rapid' progress but hardly ever use it.

MANUAL mode is for when I'm really wanting to engage with this wonderful car (and the roads are clear).  I always come back buzzing with that one 🤪.

...and errr what on earth is ECO?

In the RC300h I always use Normal around town and Sport on the open roads. I've never use Slug, sorry ECO mode, except once to try it out..

Sport+ is used when I'm having fun but our UK roads are too bumpy to use it comfortably.

Fuel consumption isn't really a concern, easily get mid 40's around town and low 30's on the open roads averages out to what you see in my signature below.

I'm obviously duller than you guys, I pretty much had my RC300h in Eco most of the time, though having said that 90% of my driving is just round town, hardly ever go on the motorway any more.

When I got the LC500h, I started off with Eco but now have it most of the time in Custom (Eco + Comfort), though occasionally I put in Sport or Sport+ for some neck-snapping fun. I may be wrong, but when I put it in Sport, it seems to me that the seat belt tightens/locks as well. Not sure if this is just me, or the Sport setting includes trying to hold you in your seat more firmly?

Off on a slight tangent but I really miss the dynamic seats of my CLS55 that hugged one into corners and on rapid acceleration. Those bolsters were great at keeping one secure and comfortable. Just don't set them on 'Strong' could crush one's rib cage!
