New 12volt battery

Recommended Posts

The dealer is fitting a new Battery next week to my UX250h. Will there be any of the settings( ie electric seats etc) that will need readjusting/re-setting after fitting?

It failed the annual hybrid test,

Thank you for any responses

Wow, are you sure?

It would be extremely unusual for a hybrid Battery to give up the ghost after just two years. I could see it happening to the 12V Battery but not the hybrid battery; they usually last 10 years or more.

If it really is the high voltage hybrid Battery then I would imagine all settings will be lost. With the 12V Battery they can use a 'Battery saver' to keep the settings in memory.

It is only the 12volt battery they are replacing

Ah right.

What my favourite band, LED Zeppelin, would call a 'Communication Breakdown'
