Rx300 quarterlight glass replacement

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

Some moron broke the glass of my driver's side rear quarterlight and whilst I can get the glass I am unsure how to remove and replace the glass so if anyone can advise on the procedure I would be very grateful.

Thank you.

As above, if you have fully comprehensive insurance they usually have a “Recommended” company like Autoglass.

It is DIYable but if you have no previous experience removing the door trim panel and window guides get someone else to do it.

I understand not but the excess has increased to around £75.00 now.

The only thing that does concern me is would a smashed side window be classed as attempted theft by the insurer whereas a stone damaged windscreen be not.
