Lexus RC300h-v-BMW430d

Recommended Posts

My RC has just gone into the bodyshop for repair after some stupid woman drove into the back of me.Her insurers have provided me with an "equivalent" whilst repairs are underway.I'm glad I didn't even bother looking at BMW when I changed cars  a couple of months ago. It's fairly noisy ,and nowhere near as smooth as the Lexus (It is a diesel but has 6 cylinders)General finish and equipment well below Lexus standards.-- Not at all impressed. The only positive  thing is that it is fairly pokey and a convertible and the sun is just breaking through...

With BMW you need to spend quite a bit more to equip it to the same level, some more poverty level trims are very basic. That said - yes they are much faster and more fuel efficient (if diesel) and petrol actually sounds good. So all depends on what is important for you in the car.

IAt least should only be for 10 days or so.Mustn't complain  could have ended up with a small knackered hatchback. At least it seems to handle better than  the 4 BM's I had in the 1980's lots of opposite lock in the wet!

Still waiting to hear back from Motorola by the way on Android Auto
