LS400 bits: How do I sell?

Hello all,

I'm a bit confused, but is there a for sale part in this forum? I can't find anything. Yes, I'm probably useless.

I've got a few bits from my March 1997 LS400 that I want to sell. Due to problems at home, I've just sold the car, but I still have some bits that didn't go with it. It's broken my heart, but that's life.

Can anyone tell me where I can sell the bits?

There's a set of new Godspeed and another make, adjustable rear suspension links (4 off), two completely rust-free rear subframes, and a set of new clear glass front indicators.

I imported all of these from the States a few years ago, and never got to using any of them.

Thanks for any help.

Dan.

Hello Malc,

I don't know what my version is. As far as I always thought, it's a mark 2, because the first one had split headlights, and a slightly different centre console. The one that came out at the end of '97 had ugly (sorry) headlights, and I think a sat nav become standard. so mine is/was (it hasn't been paid for yet) inbetween the two.

The subframes I think are the same from 94 to 2000 odd. So the adjustable suspension links will fit those too.

I guess the indicators only fit my version, but I'm no expert.

I'll get another, one day, if my situation improves. I let my 13-years old daughter drive it on a private road last week. She loves that car, too. She started crying when I told her it was sold. ☹️

Aha. So it's a mk3. I don't know the difference then. no idea about the colour.

It originally came from Aberdeen. I bought it in 2014 from a dealer near London, and used it all over Europe, where I spend a lot of my time. Every time I was on the motorway, it got to 150mph. such a smooth car.

I thought I would run it for a couple of years and then use the engine in another project, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Anyway, it hasn't been used for a couple of years, but it has been kept in the dry, run regularly, and so is pretty good.  My personal situation has changed for the worse, so I have to sell most of my things.

It's done 140,000 miles. I Bought a new cam belt, pulleys, and water pump to fit but didn't get around to fitting them. Plus a few other bits, like brake discs, pads, and suspension bushes. They're going with the car. I sold it for 1200. I could cry.

I only just thought today that I could have tried to sell it on here, but it'S too late now. That's why I'm going to advertise the other parts I have on here.
