Lcd-a/c-shockabs-styling-tips And Questions

Recommended Posts

Hi Im from Sweden and have a LS400-92

This letter is both tips and some questions..

I have almost touched everypart of my ls..

I begin with the questions...

to all you nice people out there..

Is there somebody who got some tips where to find nice headlights like "angel eyes" and some styling.. like skirts for the ls400.

Where do I get a new LCD for A/C cheap.. its black clouded.. B)

and the most important question.. where is the sensors for the A/C positioned.

Now to the tips..

The first thing that occured is that the suspensions seems wrong, this is probably because of lifting up the car and I missed that there is a button in the luggagetrunk that should be switched when this will be done.

then there is the problem with the A/C.. this started when changing the window.

I changed the whole A/C system.. compressor etc and refilled it.. but it doesnt work.. so now is the only thing and probably (now afterwards) the obvious thing the sensor that measure the temperature somewhere around the windows is broken.. probably.

The car was beginning to go like a snake.. and this problem is the rubber boxes in the rear. I am about to change them.

I also braked very hard and after I drowe in some water puddles.. this made the brakedisks to get a little bit rattled.. so it brakes randomly.. so I will shange the brake disks.. :crybaby:

The lights in the displays is easy to change home.. its just to take a thin knife and push it beside the radio display etc. and try to get all the displayfronts out.

well I could continue all day... but if you got some problems .. ask.. maybe I could help you as I wish that you help me with my questions.

Best Regards

and drive carefully and dont brake too hard out in rain... ;)

For Henrik in Sweden, the aircon has a self diagnosis system.

I'll try to describe this ,it is better with the pictures to follow but I am not that good on the computer to send them

With the ignition off, whilst pushing both the buttons marked 'auto ' and the one with the picture of an arrow curling to the right, turn on the ignition.

All the little green indicators will flash.

After a few seconds the system goes to sensor check and a code appears in the display.

These are the codes 00=normal-11=inside temp. sensor-12=outside t/s.

13=After evap. sensor-14=water temp.heater radiator - 21=solar sensor-22=compressor lock detected[short of refrigerant does this one]-23=coolant pressure- 31=air-mix servo potentiometer- 32=IN/OUT change damper servo potentiometer -33=Mode damper S/p - 41=air-mix damper S/p.- 42=IN/OUT change damper S/p - 43 mode damper s/p

To cancel push the 'off' button

phew! hope this is some use
