Sat Nav Disc version

I have just bought a May 2001 registered SC430 and there is no sat nav disc in it.

i am told that in order to buy the correct disc for it I need to know if its gen 1, gen 2 etc.

can anyone advise me what disc I need please

Personally I'd save your money and use a much better navigation system on a phone.

Its just to have the car fully working, I would use my Tom Tom for a serious journey😃😀

Not to stray off topic, but do we have date(s) for the annual meet next June? Be good if we can get it in the diaries early

I think last years meeting was Sunday the 10th July so next year could be the 9th July if it sticks to it's anniversary date.

It was arranged by Juan Thornes who runs the Lexus SC430 Club UK group on Facebook so I guess he will do the same next year and let people know. I think the announcement of the date and time was only made on the 10th June so it was quite short notice so it would be better to set a date sooner so more people can plan around it.

Yes Glyn you are quite right that it was Juan Thornes who organised the last one and it was quite near the date when the date was announced.

It would be good to have that date early and the people like me who have to plan ahead can do that.

It does appear that the weekend of 10/11 June 2023 would follow the last one well.

I think most people thought the venue venue near Coventry was good and I for one would be happy to return there. I suppose Juan will need to check with them that they can accomodate us.

I will make him aware of our speculation about the event next year and if it would be possible for him to confirm the date.
